Holiday houses in Carenage

The house has one of the most spectacular views you will ever see. We were a large group and the house easily accommodated all of us with loads of secret corners and spots to hang out so you never felt clustered together, and could easily escape and just have a coffee by yourself. The kitchen allowed us to cook for everyone with ease. (However the shops on the island are very limited and expensive!). We also discovered a little path to a secret beach below the property as well, which felt like having out own little private beach. The island is MUCH nicer than the main island, and the hosts were very helpful!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at palm house. The house looks even better in person, it was clean and it had everything we needed. Zashon was readily available to help us whenever we needed assistance. The beach nearby is beautiful and just a short walk from the house. We drove so it was easy getting around the island, but there’s a bus stop right across the street. If I’m ever in Bequia I would love to stay here again and would gladly recommend it to anyone.

Anne & Matthew more than deserve their 5 star status. 1000 words isn’t enough for me to describe how wonderful their Airbnb is. Anne & Matthew went above and beyond to look after us, before, during & after our stay. Nothing was too much to ask - communication was impeccable, we were greeted on our arrival. Everything we needed was answered or provided, from snorkelling kit, to directions & local recommendations. Beach Bums is a real work of art. It is sleek, luxuriously decorated & furnished. The layout of the property, the cleanliness, the amenities & added extras are just perfect, which made for the most relaxing stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the plunge pool & the net hammock - the views are literally unbeatable. Everything and anything is thought of here, we needed for nothing! The location is incredibly private & peaceful. Their 3 local beaches are well within walking distance, it’s as if you have your own selection of private beaches. You have to visit this place to believe it!

The communication before we booked was A*, as a single mum with a 9 year old I was instantly assured by how easy our initial interaction was. Florent and Karen were so accommodating, helpful caring and kind, they treated us like family. The apartment was a dream, from the cleanliness to the facilities and a balcony over looking their pool so I could keep an eye on my daughter at all times. Pictures on their page are 100% accurate. Security was never an issue, we felt safe an catered for, and they thought of everything - even with keeping the mosquitoes out with a mosquito net and combo coils, I was badly bitten whilst in the Caribbean so this was really helpful. Even in times of desperate need, when my daughter injured herself at lower bay and they took us to a local medic; I literally do not know what I would have done without them. My aunt recommended the apartments to me and I am so glad she did ❤

We loved our 4 night stay at the cottage. It’s exactly like the photos, extremely comfortable and in a prime location on the waterfront. Easy walking distance to many restaurants, shops and beaches. Kerry was extremely responsive and helpful, both before and during our stay. Extra special big thanks to Carlton who looked after us in respect of transport both during our stay at the cottage and afterwards, when we had moved to our second accommodation - friendly, super reliable and his service helped to make our stay even more enjoyable.

The apartment was very comfortable for a short stay on Canouan. Great view and pleasant breezes from the balcony. Comfortable bed. Small kitchen has the essentials to prepare simple meals: 4-burner gas stove, microwave, toaster, water kettle and mini fridge. Definitely one of the most affordable lodging options on the island. It’s on a quiet street just a short walk uphill from the ferry dock and a sandy beach. Host Roberto was very helpful in arranging a golf cart rental and sorting out the details of the ferry schedule. Much appreciated.

Monica’s home was exactly as described. She was a very pleasant host and ensured that we were greeted by a fair and friendly taxi driver to bring us to the home. We had the pleasure of staying at both spaces offered in her home and we thoroughly enjoyed them both. The home is perched on the side of a hill and surrounded by lush green vegetation. The indoor/ outdoor living spaces are amazing. The view of the sea and Princess Margaret beach are also remarkable. There is a bar/restaurant, Jacks, right at the bottom of the hill and makes for an easy dinner or for relaxing on the beach. One would think that being close to a bar would be an issue but it is not…it is very peaceful and quiet, not a raucous establishment. It is an easy walk to the main part of town along a path on the coast. We really enjoyed our stay on Bequia and the hospitality of our host. I would highly recommend “shades of blue” for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Beautiful beach house with relaxing vibe. The beautiful beach and warm ocean water are steps away from the house. We feel well rested and rejuvenated.

Tropical Daze Villa was perfect for our family vacation. Steps to a beautiful beach with the ability to snorkel directly from the beach. It's at the quiet end of Lower Beach, which often meant we had the beach virtually to ourselves. Close enough to a variety of restaurants- two right by the house, Petra's and Dawn's restaurants, and more a short 5 minute walk down the beach. The walk to Princess Margaret Beach along the beach didn't take too long (15 min) when you are ready for variety and the walk in to town is one mile, which takes 30-40 minutes using the beach route depending on your speed (there is a brief stretch that requires leaving the beach to follow a path up the hill and back down). The house itself had everything we needed for our family of six. The house was clean, kitchen well equipped, and the fans and a/c kept us cool. The beach chairs, snorkel equipment, cooler and inflatable floats were fabulous. Naideen was a friendly host!
