Small rural stone house restored with private garden and parking, offers tranquillity and a stunning view to Serra da Freita and Frecha da Mizarela waterfall. Great starting point to reach the remote hills of Freita, where you can enjoy long hikes, river baths or simply visit the geological and archaeological sites of Arouca Geopark. Located in a small rural village in the hills, nearby you can find a grocery store and good restaurant with local gastronomy. Porto city is just 50 min away by car.

Quinta Vila Rachel is located in the Natural Park of Vale do Tua, in the heart of the Douro Region, with an activity focused on wine tourism and the production of natural and organic wines. Our Farm offers its guests an organic pool where they can relax enjoying the unique landscapes of the Tua Valley. The Farm also have wine tasting activities, where the latest harvests can be tasted, as well as visits to the cellar and vineyards, where the organic and sustainable production is practiced.*

You'll love my place because it's quiet, has good access to rural areas with a pleasant view over chestnut groves and agricultural lands. In the same space, there´s a hot tub you can enjoy (private and not shared) and only available for the house guests (extra fee applies).
