Very good stay at Jean-Pierre's, the accommodation was very comfortable, because of the weather we were not able to enjoy the small terrace but in summer it must be very pleasant. The riverside is within walking distance for a stroll. Jean-Pierre responded quickly and was proactive. I would highly recommend it!

Remarkable place! You feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Extremely comfortable beds. And what about the view. Stunning! I recommend it and will not hesitate to spread the word.

We had a great time at the trapper's cottage. Although we were afraid of being cold when we arrived at the accommodation, we contacted Genessee upon arrival who was very responsive and came to help us turn on the wood burning stove. The space heated very quickly and throughout the stay the indoor temperature was warm even without the wood burner being turned on. Great environment with walks in the estate and up to the reserve where you can see deer. The cottage may seem small from the outside when you arrive, but in reality it is very spacious and large in depth. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of space. Change of scenery and tranquility assured. We would definitely recommend Genessee's homes, which is very friendly, warm and caring.

There are places where you instantly feel good when you arrive. This house, its view and its garden are part of it. A peaceful and relaxing place where it's good to do nothing, whether the weather is good or it's raining. This house has a rare character and we would like to never leave, extend the stay, let the gaze wander through the waves of the Saint-Laurent. My parents, my girlfriend and I greatly enjoyed this long weekend, nothing is missing in this house, and especially not this incredible view of the river from almost all the rooms. Thank you for sharing such a place! I hope we can come back and I will cherish the memories created these last few days for a long time! The belugas greeted us on our departure to our great delight.

Beautiful recent and comfortable little house in the village of Saint-Louis, on the edge of the river; we had a great stay: everything was very clean, the kitchen area well organized. Several possible steps from the house; on the other hand, to reach the shops, it is necessary to take the car. We hope to come back!

Residence combining charm and comfort. Despite an earlier arrival than expected, Marie-Pier welcomed us with kindness. Quiet neighborhood with services nearby. Portneuf Regional Park 25 minutes away where hiking and canoeing await you at very attractive prices (just don't forget the mosquito repellent). Excellent stay

What a beautiful place and what a welcome from Renée! Accommodation located directly on the edge of the river with an outdoor layout to enjoy it (campfire, swing). And of course a magnificent view of the mountains of Charlevoix. Very clean, welcoming and comfortable accommodation. Everything was there! The bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. We loved it! Hi, Very nice and clean accommodation. The neighbourhood is nice but at night, there are a lot of homeless people and it's not very reassuring if you come home late.

I don’t know how to convey our delight and satisfaction with Bernard and Francine as our hosts. They met us at check in and spent a great deal of time going over everything and recommending sights, experiences and eating establishments. We had wonderful 4 days at Yves place. Layout is very smart. Wonderful windows and light. Bed very comfortable. Happily cooked in the kitchen. It is well positioned to walk to the old city and along the St. Lawrence River. On the other side of the Marina is an urban garden with the most amazing veggies. We had wonderful neighbors during out stay in the sister house boat next to us. Looking forward to coming back.

We loved this location! It was an easy walk to restaurants and shops. The boat was clean and had a great view of the city. Yves was an excellent host…very attentive to questions. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again!

The accommodation had everything you need and the kitchen was very well equipped. Very idyllic place to linger and enjoy the peace.

Exceptional stay in winter in this very comfortable and warm cottage. The view of the Saint Lawrence is crazy and changes every day. Access may seem complicated but ultimately there is no problem and if the ice threatened to prevent us from passing our host immediately ordered a snow plow. Recommended for the geographic location! Diane went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and welcoming. The location was right on the water although due to weather we were restricted from accessing it. The island was quiet but that was what we expected and wanted. Bed was extremely comfortable. Shower was great with good water pressure. We'd love to come back and will stay with Diane again!

Absolutely loved my stay here, everything was amazing from the room to the view to Genevieve's friendliness. before I booked i made sure that it was okay that I could only speak english and she reassured me that it was perfectly fine. when I got there she was super friendly and speaking to me in English even though she didn't have to. I would definitely stay here again.

The chalet was nice and cozy! The weather was beautiful with the exception of the last day, and we spent all weekend sitting outside looking at the view. Loved the island and the accessibility of the house.

Beautiful chalet located in a very peaceful area, with very little traffic, close to the end of a road that runs along the river and ends in a cul-de-sac. When we arrived, everything was impeccable: the chalet was perfectly clean, as was the water in the spa. No complaints about the welcome or the preparation of the premises. The chalet is very well furnished, well equipped, and the materials are tastefully chosen. The outdoor layout is also neat and pleasant. We had a pleasant stay. Only small downside: the spa temperature controls seem locked. The temperature varies between 98°F and 100.5°F depending on the time of day. In short, my morning spa was a little chilly for my taste :)
