Ansons Bay remote paradise within the Bay of Fires

Ansons Bay is a remote holiday village within the Bay of Fires which we call Paradise. Although it is remote we do have free WiFi. The house is a perfect place to relax on the verandah, go fishing, take one of our kayaks out on the bay or up the river, there's plenty of walking trails, I can assist you with information on self guided Bay of Fires walks. There's a mooring available for your boat. You just need to bring your provisions as the closest shops and fuel are 1/2 hour away.

Maireener at West End is situated in one of the most spectacular corners of Flinders Island. This newly built retreat, completed in February 2020, offers very comfortable, well appointed accommodation in a tranquil setting overlooking Roydon Island and Bass Strait. Walking distance to deserted beaches, coastal walks, mountains and a rich array of flora and fauna. Best suited to those who enjoy getting out and exploring this beautiful coastal setting - in all its moods.

Known to the locals as the bottle house, the original old cottage has plenty of character with bottles cemented into the wall around the fire place and a wagon wheel set into a stone wall. A recently completed extension has added 2 Large Bedrooms with views of the lavish hills, the property faces north catching the sun. Set on 3 acres gives it a real country living feeling while only 7 mins walk to the Dorset Hotel and 5 min ride to the Trail Head.

Our newly-renovated cottage is located half way between Derby and Weldborough, about a ten minute drive to both destinations. The property is peaceful and quiet , surrounded by hilly pastures and direct access to a fully fenced native forest with a few MTB trails for a short ride (Kersbrook Stash) and other areas for walks. It is great for couples, MTB riders and specially families because Minishredders Babysitting Service is just next door.

A perfect retreat for couples to unwind and enjoy the magic open plan living in this beautifully renovated 1920s seaside bungalow. Magic wrap around verandah with sea views, barbecue and hammocks to laze away in. Fabulous morning light. Very close to beaches and short walk (4 minutes) to good coffee, supermarket and restaurants. Great location to explore Bridport and surrounds. We do not accept children under the age of 18 years.
