Foal Retreat

Refúgio das Poldras is located in Vilar de Viando, right on the banks of the Cabril River, one of the cleanest rivers in the region. Excellent for bathing, swimming, or simply walking along more than 2 km of the Cabril River. It is located about 2 km from the center of the village if you want to walk along the Roman road. The bungalow features a double bed with a unique view of the river, a kitchenette for light meals, a bathroom with shower, and a suspended deck.

Welcome to our cozy two-story home by the lake! We’ve kept the charming granite façade typical of the region, while the interior is clean, comfortable, and fully equipped for a relaxing stay. Located in the heart of Peneda-Gerês National Park, you’ll have access to scenic hikes, thermal baths, and breathtaking nature. Just 1 hour from Braga and 90 minutes from Porto. P.S. The stairs to the bedroom are steep and not recommended for guests with reduced mobility.

Totally private space for exclusive use. Inserted in a farm in the Gerês area (19 km from the Gerês thermal baths). The farmhouse has a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, hot mineral water jet shower, barbecue area and outdoor dining, etc.

Discover the charm of Casa do Engenho Braga, in this unique Studio next to the Adaúfe River Beach — one of the most beautiful in the country. Ideal for swimming, relaxing, fishing or paddleboarding. Surrounded by living nature (otters, herons and crayfish!) and an old irrigation mill still in operation. The house dates back to 1843 and has been remodeled while maintaining its historical features.
