“The cabin in the clouds was an amazing spot to disconnect and just relax. We stayed for 2 nights and it was perfect. The privacy and location were just beautiful. If you're looking for a spot to disconnect and reconnect with the ones you love this is the place. We traveled with just 2 adults and had a great time doing nothing at all. We cooked delicious eggs and sausage we bought from their farm over a fire, read books and watched the storms roll through the valley and caught 2 beautiful sunsets. They provided all the basic amenities and even extras we may have forgotten. Getting to and from the cabin was a bit if a hike, we drove in, but it was not on a paved road or clearly defined path. Our hosts were great! We look forward to booking this spot again in the future.”
A secluded rustic log cabin located on ~30-wooded acres in Marshville, NY. Beautiful views. Hiking on the property. Very pet friendly! Has a large pond stocked with bluegill, rock bass, etc. also suitable for swimming & small boats.
“We really enjoyed being at the cabin, as a nice break from the city (particularly in these times). Tolga is great at communication and everything was sorted promptly. I would underscore his message in the guidebook: if something breaks, please let him know ASAP. We arrived to find a shattered oven door which took lots of back and forth; ultimately Tolga confirmed that another guest had neglected to report it broken. This meant, unfortunately, that we could not really do a lot of the cooking we had planned (and shopped for), and had to find makeshift solutions with the grill. That said, the grill and the deck were lovely, and provide the best views of the pond and backyard. The area is just such a gem, and the roads are great for long walks and drives. Amazing scenery. There are some wonderful farm stands, and true peace and quiet at night. The village and supermarket are only a 10-15 minute drive.”
1790 three-story brick home in historic Kingsboro Patent. Beautiful private yard with gardens. Parking. An historic 1765 cottage with fireplace is open for a tour. Minutes from the Adirondacks and Saratoga - Sacandaga Lake is five minutes away. This offering is a beautifully appointed garden apartment - separate entrance.
“Look no further, and BOOK this place NOW! I must say, the pictures do not do this home any justice. It’s filled with such rich history. The architecture is beautiful, and while you are inside the downstairs apartment, you are treated with cute little nooks and trinkets throughout each space. William and Wally went above and beyond. They are incredibly hospitable and friendly! The gardens in the back are so beautiful, especially with a morning coffee in hand. Also, the bed. Need I say more, but that was our best couple nights of sleep in a long while! After some good Zzzzzzzz’s you will feel completely refreshed and ready to enjoy everything that the Southern Adirondacks has to offer! Will definitely be back :)”
