Cabin holiday rentals in Campbell River

The cabin was everhthing we wanted and needed. We had an absolute fabulous stay. It’s isolated enough that you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but it’s still close enough to Courtenay so you’re close to the shops etc. Because of the location, it’s very peaceful. The cabin was cozy; the bed was really comfortable and the wood fire hot tub was such a neat experience! We definetely want to come back, maybe when there is snow because it must be magical.

Had an incredible stay on Mt. Washington at Ski Bunny Betsy's. The home was beyond beautiful and extremely clean. The view was incredibly peaceful and the giant hot tub was a huge bonus! The master bed was extremely comfortable with lost of pillows and crisp linens. Kitchen was a dream to cook in. Lots of space throughout including high ceilings and great communication with Handsome Dan. Can't wait for our next visit!

We had a great time at Paul's place, private and peaceful. Watched the stars from the hot tub and sunset from divers rock (quick walk). The snorkeling around divers rock is fantastic at low tide, provided the ocean chill doesn't take you out too fast! The yurt was a really neat experience, well insulated and quiet. Would definitely stay again!

This is a hidden gem and can't say enough positive things about it! The property is stunning and even more beautiful than the photos do credit. Its not far out from Powell River with close access to biking and other activities in the area. The place felt private, was clean, had comfortable beds and pullout, BBQ, and functional little kitchen. There is a big deck overlooking the ocean and great campfire pit. The real highlight of the property is the hot tub with sunset views and easy access down to the beach for a swim. Paul was friendly and super responsive. We absolutely plan to come back soon.

Susan's place on Cortes was so beautiful and fully stocked. it felt like the perfect cabin getaway!

Worked well for my family. Unique place, great sunrise view, fairly well stocked kitchen, and close to ski resort. The hot tub was great to come back to after a day of skiing.

Our family loved our stay here. Leah is the kindest and most welcoming of hosts. The cabin’s location was perfect for us, close enough to family gatherings in Courtenay but in such a serene place we could unwind in the evenings and enjoy walks surrounded by huge cedars to the beach for the beautiful sunsets. Very dog friendly and we just adored meeting Timber and loving on her too. It was so perfect!

We enjoyed our 6-day stay at this cottage. It was quiet and peaceful, and very comfortable. It was also well-located for our explorations. The kitchen is well-equipped, including a good assortment of herbs and spices. We also appreciated having plenty of towels. The long-stay neighbours are friendly and helpful, including giving us information about the area. The binder in the cottage was also useful for this. A couple of tips for future guests: - the coffee maker is a Keurig, so bring pods if you want to use it - if you use the coat-hooks on the wall behind the cottage door, remember to check them before you leave - easy to not think of it in the flurry of packing up and leaving :-)

My wife and I had an amazing time spending our honeymoon here. The float house was super comfy. You can sit on the deck and watch the tide come in slowly. The people on the island are super kind. Be sure to check out the farmers market on Fridays to meet the locals. As well as all the road stands set up.

The location was perfect. The cozy cabin is super cute and has everything you need. The proximity to the coop-cafe and the beautiful sandy beach on Hague lake was so convenient . I spent 2 hours on the beach via the public access just 2 minutes down the road before checking in. My stay was short and sweet. I will definitely be back to take the canoe out!

such a beautiful cabin ✨ came to Cortes for a funeral and was so nice to be able to do some self care in the sauna and sit with a fire and just have a moment by myself, a deer came and joined me before I went to bed it was such a wonderful 2 nights on Cortes island. Candice even let me bring my kittens to Cortes so they didn't have to stay home all by themselves ❤️ 10/10 the comfiest bed I've ever slept on in my life!

Loved this location on Hornby. Thought it was great value for the money and enjoyed sitting under the grape vines in between exploring the island. Nice hike at the end of the road and an adorable winery just down the street. Just be careful, Apple Maps took me to the correct street but tried to tell me to turn down the wrong driveway (it’s the last on the left!) Lily was super friendly and quick to respond to any messages I had to send.

A lovely cozy and quirky cabin full of character. Central location with easy access to roads for cycling to various beaches. Nothing on the island felt too far to. The use of the bikes was a great help getting about. Bike shop opposite was a bit of a mess but didn’t matter as we were either in the cabin, on the decking or exploring the island. Tim was super helpful with giving us the information we needed for the ferry and taxi and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.

Fantastic cabin with beautiful waterfront view! As previous reviews said, it’s fully fenced which is great for peace of mind for the dog! The pathway down to the water is definitely quite steep and with the overgrowth we didn’t attempt the walk down, so ended up driving a few minutes up the road for water access. The view is the best part of this place for sure! We had a lovely stay :)

We had a great, and very peaceful stay. Perfect location for accessing the lake, the house/kitchen had everything we needed and more, and it was completely spotless when we arrived! We look forward to returning soon :)

Peter and Jill are very respectful. The place is immaculately clean and has whatever you need even for a long stay. The farm tour was very interesting and the amount of work they’ve been doing on farming and planting is incredible. The fireplace is a bonus. Eggs they gift you from their farm are delicious. We loved the cabin which is a piece of art made by Peter, and looking forward to our next visit this summer.

This is Campbell River, not a resort destination. The goal of our trip was to be by the river for fishing. This spot is perfect. Open door, take 5 steps and you're on the water to fish, or drive up 5 mins to an abundance of other fishing spits along the Campbell River. Space was perfect for the 3 of us. Space was clean and the kitchen is stocked well enough to make some home cooked meals. Perfect. Would come again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and recommend. The cabin is cute and the bed super comfy. The yard is fenced and private with a lovely fire pit and dry wood. My dog was happy that we could relax. Hosts are super responsive and also respectful of privacy. The beaches are within walking distance; however, driving was better for me as the walk is along a busy section of the highway. The cabin is set back from the highway, so sounds were not an issue. Instead, I happily listened to frogs and birds. Really lovely and I will go back.

We had an incredible stay at Loon Point Cottage! The location is breathtaking—right on the water with stunning views and total privacy. The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. You can really tell how much thought and care Kate has put into every detail. She was a wonderful host—friendly, responsive, and made sure we felt completely at home. We especially loved sitting out on the deck, watching the seals, eagles and whales and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Absolutely amazing. Honestly after checking out every rental on Savary via Airbnb this is hands down the best place, best location and view, amazing layout, amenities, clean, great beds the total package. We are a family of four (kids 6 and 4) and we all stayed in the main cabin and it was perfect. The second cabin with bed and sitting area was absolutely the cutest and the tent also amazing however we didn’t use it. The prior review noted noise via the nearby cafe which we did hear the first night but as we were in the main house it didn’t bother us. Honestly the Mermaid cafe is great to be so close and the pizza there was amazing plus a great opportunity to meet other travelers and locals. The bikes were great and avoided rentals, tons to choose from like 5+ a kids bike. No issues with the septic and the bathroom was clean and nicely setup with separate toilet, sink and shower. I could see two couples fitting this place perfectly or a family. Will be back, great communication

What an absolute gem! Tucked away in a peaceful garden, yet so close to the stunning natural beauty of Vancouver Island, this cabin was the perfect retreat. The space is cosy and well-equipped - especially the kitchen, which had everything needed for home-cooked meals. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and spotless. I loved how close the cabin is to walking trails, the beach, and the charming local town - everything felt just a short stroll or drive away. But truly, what made the experience exceptional were the hosts, Tammy and Michael. Their warmth, friendliness, and genuine hospitality made us feel not just welcomed, but like part of the family. This is the kind of place you don’t just visit once - you return to, like visiting loved ones. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace, comfort, and heartfelt connection.

Will definitely stay at Charissa's cottage again. The space was clean and inviting. The bed was super comfortable. She had everything we needed for utensils to cook nice meals as well as very nice towels for showers. There is a beautiful Cove right down the road we went to each night for sunset and was lucky to see 20-25 eagle's. Quiet and calm.
