This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. Thank you for the gift Virginia, it was lovely to meet you 😊

This was one of our best ever AirBnB experiences. The accommodation is situated in a beautiful wine valley. Perect for walking the dog and an easy walk to the beautiful village of Saint Emilion. The breakfast (invluded in the stay) was fresh, delicious and delivered to our door. Jeanne is a very kind host and we felt right at home (and we cannot speak a word of French). All in all we loved our stay and the area. Very highly recommended

Amandine was so welcoming and helpful making many recommendations. The property is in a lovely location and offers amazing accommodation that feels very homely. With a hot tub and pool you are spoilt for choice. Only 10 mins from Sarlat and 15 mins from Domme it is the perfect location to explore the Dordogne. Highly recommended

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au Pré des Noix. Dès notre arrivée, Alexandrine nous a donné toutes les instructions et s'est rendue parfaitement disponible pendant le séjour. La petite maison bien équipée est ravissante et paisible, c'est un vrai lieu de repos à 2 pas de la vallée de la Vézère et de ses incontournables spots touristiques. Tout était parfait et nous reviendrons avec plaisir si l'occasion se représente

Wow, what an enjoyable stay! It’s described as Magique and it truly is a beautiful location. Lovely views of the river, hills, and hot air balloons. Leave room in your itinerary to just sit on the balcony and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of local wine. My group enjoyed meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen and the nice gas grill. There’s a nice bakery right down the hill that you can walk to in the morning. Lots of activities in the area (canoeing down the river, biking, visiting historic sites). We have stayed in many houses and this was our favorite by far. My only hesitation in writing a glowing review is that it may be harder for me to book in the future. The hosts are responsive and welcome you on your arrival and have some tips for the area. Thank you so much Sandrine for a wonderful stay!

Un lieu calme, paisible . Un moment pour se retrouver à deux . La cabane est très jolie, confortable et très pratique. J'ai regretté d'avoir pris qu'une seule nuit 😅 Juste merci pour ce séjour ! Tout était parfait ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

An interesting layout for a beautiful cottage, it takes a bit to get used to it, amazing views, at the edge of the forest and the village. We had a wonderful time with our friends, lots of activities to do in the area and many places to visit. Thank you for you hospitality, Lumi & Liviu

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

Bedankt voor de geweldige vakantie! Gillian en Phil zijn heel vriendelijk en geven supertips om de omgeving te ontdekken. Alles was netjes en we genoten van de rust en de prachtige omgeving. Het verblijf was nog mooier in real life dan op de foto’s. We komen zeker terug!

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

Séjour parfait chez Lizzie et Pascal. Le lieu est magnifique et paisible et l’accueil fort sympathique. Notre petit pigeonnier était très cosy et très agréable! Parfait pour notre séjour! L’emplacement est très central entre bergerac, sarlat et Périgueux mais également proche des magnifiques différents villages de la région. Nous avons eu du mal à repartir!

Excellent séjour chez Fabrice et Aurélia. Le logement se trouve au coeur d'un domaine en pleine nature et au calme, dépaysement garanti. Aurélia et Fabrice savent recevoir et sont présents, tout en étant discrets. Le petit déjeuner et (délicieux) dîner permettent de n'avoir plus rien à se soucier (à part profiter du jacuzzi).

Très bon séjour au milieu des vignes. Logement agréable et propre. Literie confortable. Bien équipé. Hôte accueillant et disponible.

Nous avons séjourné chez Laurence pour une soirée. La communication avec Laurence était très fluide et agréable avant notre arrivée. La propriété est très belle et la suite était impeccable. Nos hôtes étaient également très sympathiques sur place. Nous recommandons chaudement et n’hésiterons pas à les recontacter pour une visite plus longue dans cette belle région Merci à tous les deux.

Wat een prachtige plek! Deze rustieke Airbnb ligt midden in de korenvelden, op een ruim en sfeervol terrein. De woning combineert het klassieke karakter van steen met moderne materialen, wat zorgt voor een warme en stijlvolle uitstraling. Binnen is alles met zorg ingericht. De keuken is handig en volledig uitgerust, en de douche en wastafel zijn van goede kwaliteit – praktisch én comfortabel. De omgeving is heerlijk rustig, perfect om echt tot rust te komen en te genieten van de natuur. En als kers op de taart: op loopafstand vind je een perfecte pizzeria waar je verrassend goed kunt eten. Kortom, een ideale plek voor wie houdt van stilte, comfort en een vleugje Franse charme.

L’expérience était parfaite. Le logement de Virginie et son mari est un véritable havre de paix, nous voulions un week-end au vert, nous n’aurions pas pu rêver mieux. Le logement, rénové récemment comporte tout ce qu’il faut pour un séjour agréable. La chambre en mezzanine est très agréable, et fraîche grâce à ses murs en pierre. La literie parfaite. L’extérieur est magnifiquement entretenu par Virginie et son mari, tous les deux paysagistes. Le terrain est immense, ce qui a fait le bonheur de notre chiot qui a pu courir de partout. Aucun bruit aux alentours c’est parfait pour déconnecter et ne rien faire. Nous avons beaucoup aimé les villages / zones aux alentours pleines de charmes. Un grand merci pour l’accueil, le petit déjeuner et tout le reste !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Christian. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été très bien accueillis avec gentillesse et attention : de délicieuses mignardises et une citronnade maison nous attendaient, un vrai plus après la route ! Le logement était parfaitement propre, très bien équipé, et idéalement situé en plein cœur de Sarlat, tout se fait à pied. Christian a été disponible et chaleureux, un hôte comme on en voudrait à chaque voyage. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement, que ce soit pour visiter Sarlat ou rayonner dans la région. Merci encore pour cette belle parenthèse !

Beautiful house, with an absolutely therific garden and a proper pool. The value is extremely good for the price!

Magnifique maison, au calme, au cœur du Périgord noir. Les quelques jours étaient particulièrement ensoleillés. Le matin, petit déjeuner sur la terrasse en surplomb face à la nature qui s’éveille. Le midi, déjeuner à l’arrière de la maison à l’ombre dans le jardin. Le soir, retour sur la terrasse pour un dîner face au coucher de soleil. Le tout, sans vis-à-vis. Les seuls compagnons peuvent être les moutons voisins et les chevreuils. La maison est vaste et agréable. Et le hamac intérieur permet un repos original, au frais, lorsqu’il fait chaud dehors.
