We spent several vacation days with 4 people in Alain's house and felt completely comfortable there. The photos on airbnb accurately reflect the furnishings and good condition of the apartment - which we found to be absolutely clean. Upon our arrival, water and juice were already in the fridge, and fresh fruit, some spices, olive oil, coffee and honey were available free of charge in the kitchen. We were able to use the washing machine and also use existing detergent. In addition, Alain offered us the use of the grill and charcoal. We did not use the cleaning aid offered. Separate towels were provided for beach visits. Alain was always available by phone or messenger and quickly on the spot if necessary. He is a very nice, attentive and helpful host – in short: exactly as you imagine a perfect host. Not intended as a criticism, but as a hint: the women missed a hair dryer.

This home was one of my favourite Airbnbs’ I ever stayed in. I traveled with my family and we were 5 of us and our stay was very comfortable. The house is beautiful and very well equipped and maintained. There is everything that 1 needs. The ocean is literally right there! Overall my stay was very good. 1 thing to consider, that when you’re giving your clothes for laundry, do not mix darks and whites, I did that thinking the help would separate them but that didn’t happen and our whites/ pastels were coloured. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay. The helps Saroj and Viena kept the place pristine and clean. It was truly a home away from home

The place is just amazing to have some beautiful and excellent holidays in Mauritius. It is situated in a safe area, a gold estate, and there are 2 restaurants in the area. A boat is available for the guest to go to the Île aux cerfs every 30 minutes, a peaceful island, very quiet where you can stay all day (there is also a restaurant there). Every place you want to go can be done by walk (if you like that) or by car. Cecile’s house looks like the photo : beautiful and well furnished, you feel like home but with this touch of modern !! Ni neighbour because open space in front of the pool. The weather is not certain in Mauritius, but we had a chance to have sunny days so we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Cecile for your kindness and your responsiveness.
