Beachfront holiday rental in Cambria

Great location. Easy to explore the town and drive over to the next town to explore. Close to hearst castle, SLO and a few other fun towns. Close to Morro Bay and Morro bay rock. Fun surf at Morro Bay rock. Great place to stay for the location and amenities like an outdoor shower, roof top deck and having a kitchen to cook in.

We arrived and immediately felt at Home. We had pretty much everything we needed. With our little dog in tow , it was awesome to an enclosed backyard. With Grass.. super tidy yard! Great to have a garage for our car and laundry on site. The kitchen was large and stocked well even some spices and oils to use.. beds were comfy and cozy. Cute beach decor and a lovely gas fireplace for our cold rainy nights . I found additional blankets in the living room hutch. I walked to the beach every AM with my dog. Two blocks away. We could hear the waves at night from our bedroom. Perfect

We had 6 sleep comfortably using the air mattress. We did host dinner for 13 comfortably. Shower pressure was good. Hot water was always present. Had good laundry and dryer machines. Clean place. Convenient location. Can walk downtown in 10 minutes and to the beach in 5 minutes. Check in was easy. I think there was a hiccup because we didn’t receive the door code prior to check in. However, I was able to text Newell, and he called me back with the code. Newell was quick to help us with other minor things to help make our stay enjoyable. One thing to add on is easier access to netflix and amazon prime. The Smart TV only works with Samsung phones. We had to do a hack to connect a laptop to the TV and then use the internet wifi to access Netflix and Amazon Prime. However, this was a minor issue. We loved using the fireplace! We left items behind accidentally, but Newell allowed us to get them. Overall we had a 5 star stay, and we had a memorable and warm time.

My family had such a wonderful stay at this beach house! The place was clean and well stocked with everything you could need and more. I was shocked at how comfortable the beds and bedding was. And you can’t beat getting to the beach from your back door. We would definitely stay again and hope to next year!!

My wife and I planned a visit to Sequoia, but when we got there smoke from a wildfire made it untenable. I contacted Heike, at the last minute, because we figured we'd head to the central coast. She responded immediately. And, lucky for us, the place was available. It's right next to a tiny airport (but you hardly hear any sounds and it's fun to watch a few small planes, e.g. Cessnas, take off or land. It's across from a park. There's a diner that's walking distance away. Pismo Beach, perhaps two miles away, has everything you'd want from fine dining to markets. I've never been to Oceano before. Now, I'm sure we'll go back. It's quieter than places like Morro Bay and SLO. The unit itself is a bit cramped, but not in a bad way. There's three bedrooms and two baths, and it's a two-story unit. I recommend Heike's place whole heartedly. She's super responsive. When one of the TV remotes didn't work, she had batteries delivered because she was out of town! Signed, Alan K

My family and I had a wonderful time at this condo! The condo was clean and exactly as discribed, and the views were amazing and it was easy to get to the beach. It was also close enough to walk to many of the restaurants and shops, but still was far enough away to still feel like you had privacy, and the beach never got too busy. We also loved that this area was super dog friendly. If you enjoy the small town atmosphere and amazing views, I would highly recommend this place!

Great vacation stay for 4 adults and 2 kids. View was amazing and the house had what we needed. We did need some extra coffee, which was easy to get from the Tides office. We did have one instance of some people trying to use the patio, like someone else had mentioned, but they left when we told them it wasn’t public. Overall a great place to stay.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Living Well Gallery & Spa! Our host Barbara is such an amazing cook and incredibly generous and accommodating. We felt absolutely spoiled for our entire visit! Every meal she fed us was superb and catered to our specific dietary needs. Her spa treatments were lovely and her gardens were exquisite! And the location was unbeatable! Tucked away behind tinted glass so that we could see out to the entirety of Atascadero Lake but joggers and folks walking their dogs could not see in. Just a five minute walk from the park and the Atascadero Zoo! Highly recommended to anyone and everyone who needs to get away and enjoy some pampering!

Our family had a wonderful stay here. It was very well kept, plenty to do, beautiful surroundings. Would definitely come back!

We had a great time at this facility. The room was clean and well stocked with the necessities. The people working at the Inn are friendly and eager to accommodate any needs. They gave our daughter coloring books and let her look at and touch all the halloween decorations. There are lots of spaces to enjoy/relax on the grounds from your own patio, to the obvious poolside, to a chair on the green grass overlooking the bay, the game room with big windows or the shared lounge patio with a cozy gas fire. It never felt crowded, but the other guests were also all quite friendly. Our needs/questions were quickly met by both Sharon and the facility staff. We found many things to do nearby in Avila, Pismo or San Luis Obisbo. In particular, we geared our trip towards young kids; we walked the pier, saw seals, visited the aquarium, enjoyed a playground by the beach and one ON the beach, saw steelhead jumping in the river, shopped in the outlets, got ice cream and visited the Avila Valley Barn with a petting zoo and pumpkins. We would absolutely stay again.

We had a great time staying at the RV! It was clean, fit 2 people and a small dog easily. It was easy to get in and out and explore the Pismo Beach area.

Robert was an amazing host! Helpful, organized and proactive. Would definitely recommend him to other guests!

Lovely, old-school motel on the PCH. Setting is breathtaking, walk to beach is easy or challenging depending on the path you choose. The firepits overlooking the ocean were a nice touch and great place to relax after my long day in the car. Having an on-site restaurant was fantastic as there isn’t really much to choose from in San Simeon. Proximity to Hearst Castle was great. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip to the area!

Michelle’s unit is nice as described. We have stayed at dolphin bay many times. We will be back!

We had a great stay at the Cavalier Oceanfront Resort! The amenities were a highlight—loved the on-site restaurant, the evening bonfires, and the peaceful atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Hearst Castle and the elephant sea lions were just a short drive away, which made for some fun nearby adventures. Our only issue was that the carpet in the room had a strong odor, like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while, and we were a bit disappointed that the room wasn’t oceanfront as expected. That said, everything else made for a really enjoyable experience. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay was amazing. It was easy to use keyless entry and the place was super clean. Moonstone beach is across the street, so location is a big plus. This property sits next to an empty lot with grasses and trees, so it is nice not to be in the thick of all the other inns. We really enjoyed our stay with our pups. We all were happy to wake up, breathe the ocean air and walk the path daily. Mike was very helpful and friendly. We will be back for sure.

Host was very responsive and helpful. The price was great. location is very peaceful and a short drive or walk away from great tourist spots (i.e. Downtown, dunes, etc). Airbnb was very clean and organized, listed instructions and perks were easy to find and simple to follow.

Absolutely loved my stay at Amber’s place! The beach is right down the street, and the space felt perfect in size. It’s just like a master bedroom! I’m so glad there were coat hangers, and a dresser because I always overpack and had a ton of clothes I didn’t want wrinkled. I will definitely be coming back!

We stayed here to celebrate my daughters 12th bday with my large family of 5 kids and 2 adults. My sister joined us with her two kids, and my sister in law and brother in law had a surprise drop in. There was PLENTY of room for all of us! It was super special to have my sister in law be able to maneuver her wheel chair out to the deck easily and get all her ocean/beachy time without having to get stuck in the sand! The place was super spacious, all beds were comfortable with plenty of couch space! each room having a TV was nice, and TONS of extra blankets/pillows. They were so accommodating for our big family, we will be coming back! My kids got so much sand time in! There was a fire pit ready for us right out front! The piano was a treat since we love to worship and I play the piano, AND it was tuned! Can't wait to come back!

What a nice little getaway- right on the beach! We had a great time- 1 night - so much to do. In my opinion it is the perfect AirBNB. Bed comfortable- nice kitchen. The ocean at our fingertips. We found a nice beach 11 miles away called elephant seal beach, that had like a thousand massive seals on it. Morro bay is a few mins away as well.

We had a great stay. We would actually stay at this place again. It’s super close to the beach and all of the Pismo Beach area has to offer. Amber has an annual vehicular beach pass for us to use. We took advantage of enjoying the beach with our vehicle, and it was extremely convenient when we wanted to see the sand dunes. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The couch was very comfortable. The bed was also very comfy. Amber labels things (even on light switches) and gives details on how to use things (locking the door, using the fireplace, everything!!). She offers her cell phone number to us, which is quite unusual. We usually have to wait for a long time for a response. Amber is SO detailed and had everything well organized that we never had to text her. SHE texted us to ask if we had any questions or if we needed info on where to go, etc. You know how friends want you to feel comfortable while staying over their house? That is AMBER! Thank you, Amber!

This place was cute and comfortable. Very close drive to Pismo and surrounding places to visit. It was clean. Lots of towels provided which is a huge plus. Washer and dryer made it convenient to rewash a few clothing items. Comfortable and cozy little backyard. Overall we had a great stay and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Amber for your quick response to my messages.

Great location close by the beach as well as within walking distance to downtown! Having a main house as well as "in law quarters" made it perfect for two families.
