I have decided to rent out my personal farm house\ guest house to happy road trippers seeking solitude and a peaceful surrounding. The house is within a valley surrounded by 48 hectares of open land,beautiful mountain (cederberg) backdrops and a river with three natural swimming areas within walking distance of the guest house and the place include a 25m lap pool right in front of the veranda! Oh and plenty of clean breathable air :). There is one full sized bed so its best suited for couples.

Ymansdam is situated next to the Tankwa Karoo National Park at the foot of the Roggeveld Mountain, about an hour's drive from Calvinia on the R355. The fully equipped self-catering cottage is ideal for 2 people. The cottage has an en-suite bathroom, small kitchen as well as a veranda with a fireplace and a splash pool. No electricity at the cottage. Guests can also choose a unique campsite that have ablution facilities. Visit Ymansdam and taste, experience and smell the lovely Karoo.

If you do not want to experience the old fashioned charm of the B&B this fully equipped self-catering unit is just for you (not part of the main house). The garden cottage is a fully equipped self-catering unit that has 2 separate bedrooms with 2 single beds in each room, kitchenette & bathroom with shower.
