We loved staying here. The village is extraordinary, with its small sidewalks. The car must remain in a parking lot at the entrance. It's really peaceful. The accommodation is spacious, clean and well equipped. Comfortable beds. Several terrace corners to enjoy the outdoors. The ocean view and sunsets are beautiful. Everything about it is excellent

Everything perfect! Agnieszka is a very hard-working, attentive and warm hostess! The Airbnb was sparkling clean and equipped with absolutely EVERYTHING you could need. She even took the time to show the somewhat more delicate journey to the Airbnb, which is not a problem later, if you are a good driver.😉 In the middle of banana trees, you have your peace and can enjoy the roof terrace for yourself. I'm already looking forward to booking this gem again! Absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy nature in peace! Thank you Agnieszka!

Amazing view, nice and clean, looked exactly like the photos. Nice touches with the Madeira wine, bananas and coffee pods. Well fit out kitchen. Would stay here again if I’m ever back in Madeira!

We had a great stay in Rita's very nice house which is very well designed and equipped. The ocean view is a real plus, with shade in the small garden...a car is essential, it goes up and down a lot in Madeira, you need good legs even to access the house. It is possible to do your shopping 10 minutes by car from the house and the restaurants close to the house are very nice.

Family home, pleasant in a very nice quiet village without a car. We fell under the spell of Jardim do Mar, its small alleys with its typical gardens! Thank you Sofia, we felt at home 😊🙏

Richard welcomed us warmly and showed us the accommodation, as well as gave us tips for excursions. There was a folder with more information and tips in the accommodation. He was always easy to reach and responded immediately. We had a wonderful stay. The house looks like the pictures and everything was very clean and well maintained.

The property easily lives up to the description and the pictures. The houses are fully equipped, very nicely decorated and comfortable. The swimming pools offer stunning unobstructed views of the ocean during the day and of the sky at night. There are no road noises, the place is truly calm. Grocery stores are a few minutes away by car, as are restaurants. Numerous hikes can be found in the region. The host is very reactive and will provide many recommandations related to restaurants and activities. Renting both houses to two families is a great way to spend time together while also having some privacy. I would go back there without any hesitation.

We had a great stay. Unfortunately, during our stay, a glass lid fell from the cupboard above the hob onto the hob. It was broken. Immediately reported and arranged with the owner. Very nice. Furthermore, the location is great, it is very quiet and beautiful. You are exactly on the sunny side of Madeira. The cocktail bar a little further, pukiki, is within walking distance and very nice to go to. Shops are close by, the beach is close by and the beautiful hiking trails are perfect to drive to. There is no air conditioning, I think that if it gets warmer you will notice the heat but there is a fan. The beds by the pool had collapsed, we just used our outdoor chairs. Everything in the cottage is otherwise great. No great luxury but perfect for the price, the location and everything you need is present.

Beautiful and very secluded place. The view from the house is amazing & the garden was so beautiful to relax in. The house itself was great. Kitchen wasn’t huge but we made it work - only difficulty was opening the oven door and getting stuff out when it’s so close to the fridge. The road up to the place was very steep and winding, but we managed fine in our car rental. It was tricky parking on the drive so we opted to park across the road instead which was absolutely fine. The home isn’t in walking distance to anything but it was nice to have dinner and the evening at the Airbnb, to enjoy the space :) Would defo stay here again.

Excellent stay. The apartment is spacious and has a wonderful deck overlooking the harbor at Camara do Lobo. The town was a pleasant surprise also. It is not busy like Funchal but had plenty of eating options and a pretty harbor. The private parking space and washing machine were big pluses also.

We had a lovely stay with the five of us. It lacked nothing, really everything was present (even a cheese slicer, nice for a Dutchman😅). Also a lovely outdoor area with enough furniture for all of us. Highly recommended. I would love to come again.

Lovely apartment, very modern and well equipt with a beautiful terrace that overlooks the ocean and a nice pool area that is shared with 3 other apartments. We had a great time here and location was close to the main coastal road to do many day trips. Be carful with the road to the house, if you are not an experienced driver, it is quite steep. All in all a lovely place to stay!

We had a perfect week in Didier's wonderful house and had a great time! It was a very well thought out, well-equipped, clean house, from the kitchen to the pool that ran up to 29 degrees! There was also a gym mattress, kettlebell, and petanque! 😉 It was very easy to get in, without a time series, a very detailed, understandable description, easy, free parking, and want for 2 cars. With large spaces, it's perfect for larger families! Didier was always quick to respond, helpful, friendly!

Exceptional stay in Porto Moniz! The apartment is ideally located, in the centre, close to the natural pools and restaurants. The accommodation is clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The host is welcoming, available and gives good advice for discovering the region. This is the perfect place to fully enjoy the beauty of the north coast of Madeira. We strongly recommend! We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our week long Easter vacation stay at Alexia’s house. It’s a great spacious, modernly designed and fully equipped place with everything one needs for relaxing holidays. Superb communication, easy check in, nice personal welcome and bottle of wine/local produce made it even better! Our favorite place - the terrace with beautiful sea view for coffee and meals. Easy recommendation as it’s also good central location for exploring Madeira by car.

Beautiful view. A lot of space in the house and in the garden. Resembles a farmhouse, very rustic we loved it. You have to improvise a little when cooking (equipment) Virtually no noise from the highway because it is far away (mountain). Location is perfect to explore the isle land by car. We spent two wonderful weeks at Maria's fantastic accommodation. Everything was very nice, tidy, and clean. The garden was beautiful, and we had a wonderful time. We definitely recommend this accommodation. Maria is also super friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy, and the accommodation was easy to find.

Villa Casa Lira is just perfect to summarize my trip! The listing is as advertised, everything is perfect, it is very well equipped, perfectly clean. The location of the villa is quiet, when we are in the pool or on the terrace it just feels like being alone in the world with a beautiful sea view. I highly recommend this place, it's the most beautiful and best I've had on AIRBNB in years. In addition, Fatima is a wonderful and very warm person. If you want to have a wonderful vacation you will have to book the casa Lira with Fatima.
