Adega Verdelho

Located in a quiet coastal area of the parish of Candelária, this rustic house is set within a vineyard classified as a World Heritage Site. With a basalt stone façade, typical of the island’s wine cellars, it offers an authentic and peaceful stay. Just 12 km from the airport and 15 minutes from the town of Madalena, it boasts stunning views of the ocean, the island of Faial, and the majestic Pico Mountain. Inserted in the Protected Landscape of the Vineyard Culture, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Casas da Vinha is a place of excellence to relax and enjoy your stay in Pico. Just 3 km from the center of Madalena, we have 3 one-bedroom apartments, a two-bedroom apartment and a studio apartment, all fully equipped, with a small outdoor terrace and access to the common outdoor area, with a swimming pool, solarium, dining area and barbecue, as well as a swing for the little ones in the house.

Modern apartment built in 2022, quiet and well-located. Located a 5-minute walk from the center of Vila da Madalena and the restaurants and bars. The village's bathing areas are nearby, as well as public transportation. In the vicinity of the apartment there are grocery stores and also the County Health Center There are 4 tennis courts in the area (2 in the campsite where there is also a Bar and the others in the Jardim dos Maroiços area right in the center of the Village).

Grandfather Francisco's House

Once a traditional wine cellar, built by Francisco Paulo in 1980, this villa served for many years as a production site and warehouse for the Paulo family's wine. The wine cellar has been remodeled and expanded, but it maintains the traditional elevations and the decoration and details of the times when it was used as a wine cellar. Next to the bathing area, it has a view that invites long nights of conversation.

Solar-powered wine house located in the Landscape of Pico Island Vineyard Culture - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Just a couple of minutes driving from Madalena village, this traditional and remodeled wine house has its own vineyard on the backyard. A cozy space for two with a bedroom, kitchenette open to living room and a bathroom. The wine house is overlooking the ocean, Faial island and Pico mountain.

Between the land and the sea, amidst the greenery and basalt, with a pedestrian trail, the imposing "ADEGA DA VARANDA ALTA" can be seen, where the Pico - São Jorge channel can be seen and the latter from side to side. It is located in Lugar do Canto, parish of Santo Amaro, municipality of São Roque, island of Pico-Açores.
