Ehemaliges Fischerhaus über zwei Etagen mit privatem Innenhof. Architektonische Highlights im marokkanischen Stil. Gelegen im schönen, alten Ortskern von Salema. Der ausgezeichnete Strand ist weniger als eine Gehminute entfernt. Vom Eingang aus gelangt man in den offenen Küchen-, Wohn- und Essbereich mit Blick in den oasenhaften Innenhof, der mit hochwertigen Steinarbeiten ansprechend gestaltet ist. Ein kleiner dekorativer Pool (nicht zum Schwimmen) rundet das behagliche Ambiente ab. Mit einem Buch in der Hand und den Füßen im kalten Wasserbecken lässt es sich hier an heißen Sommertagen herrlich entspannen und in aller Ruhe Kraft tanken. Das Bad mit Doppeldusche und Dusch-WC befindet sich im Erdgeschoss des Hauses. Die beiden offenen Schlafräume im Obergeschoss sind ausgestattet mit jeweils einem Queensize-Bett unter der gemütlichen Dachschräge. Jeder Schlafraum hat direkten Zugang zur Sonnenterasse mit Loungemöbeln. Herrliche Nachtruhe, man hört den Wind in den Palmen und entfernt die Brandung. Die Gäste haben Zugang zu allen Bereichen, da sie das gesamte Haus mieten. Für alle Fragen sind wir erreichbar (Mail und Telefon) und haben Leute vor Ort, die das Haus betreuen und behilflich sein können. Im Umkreis von 100 Metern befinden sich Restaurants, Bars, Shops, Verleih von Kajaks und Stand Up Paddling und ein Fischverkauf direkt nach Fang. Salema ist ein charmantes Fischerdorf, vom Strand aus werden Ausflüge mit dem Boot angeboten. Im Hinterland lockt der Gebirgszug Monchique mit heilenden Quellen. Weitere Aktivitäten sind Reiten, Yoga, diverse Wasser- und Freizeitparks, Wassersport wie Segeln, Jetski oder Surfen. Am Cabo de Sao Vincente lassen sich wunderbare Sonnenuntergänge erleben.

What a gorgeous place in a beautiful town! The apartment was finished to a very high standard with a very contemporary feel which we really loved with had great attention to detail. It was spotlessly clean as are the garden and pool area. The pool area is spacious and often felt like our own private pool. Our welcome basket with delicious treats, great bread and wine was brilliant and was much needed being weary travellers! It meant we were well equipped to eat in for the first night. Ana was on hand if we needed her and Sara and Ana were both very friendly and responsive. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it, we will definitely be back. Thankyou Sara and Ana

Wer Natur und Ruhe liebt ist hier genau richtig!Monte Gaia ist außerdem ein toller Startpunkt für Ausflüge entlang der Küste. -> Vila Nova de Milfontes! Ganz wichtig Sonnenuntergang genießen :) Iuri hat uns sehr nett begrüßt und alles erklärt, es gibt auch ein Willkommensbuch indem auch alles sehr gut auf deutsch erklärt ist. Das Haus ist gemütlich und sehr sauber, es ist alles vorhanden-> Toaster, Wasserkocher, Bialetti... Es gibt einen kleinen Supermarkt im Ort und ca. 15min Autofahrt entfernt Aldi& Lidl. Wir wollen gerne noch einmal Urlaub machen, bei Monte Gaia. Danke!

Wir hatten ganz kurzfristig (am gleichen Tag) das Häuschen von Filipe als Station auf dem Fischerweg angefragt. Und obwohl so wenig Zeit war hat Filipe sofort reagiert und uns willkommen geheißen. Da es im Haus eine Waschmaschine gibt war es perfekt um die Kleider aus dem Rucksack wieder frisch zu machen. Auf der schönen Dachterrasse konnten wir die Füße hochlegen und den Abend genießen. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt in dem man sich mit allem notwendigen eindecken kann. Leider war es nur eine Nacht aber wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen

The four of us spent our three weeks summer holiday in Erika's beautiful house and felt very comfortable there. The house is very lovingly decorated and we found everything we needed. The beautiful green garden with the various colourful flowers is a real oasis. A cute cat came to visit and kept us company. Cavaleiro is a charming little village with a very tasty restaurant, several mini-markets and a great beach within walking distance of the house. Hikes on the cliffs and sunset at the lighthouse are breathtaking. Erika is a warm, easy-going host who valued our privacy but was always available for our requests. We are very much looking forward to returning.
