Beachfront holiday rental in Byron Shire Council

Great spot to stay while you're in Byron. We much preferred being a few mins drive away from the town centre, the spot is 1km from the beach and super close to some great shops (cafe/bakery). Place was super tidy and had everything we needed. Nice and tucked away at the front of the property. Elizabeth and Richard were super accommodating and welcoming. Highly recommend!

We loved staying at Tina’s place and we’re so grateful to have a spot so close to an off leash dog beach. Our dogs were in heaven! Tina was super accomodating and relaxed which helped so much to have a true switch off! This part of the world is always a favourite for us.

Belongil is without a doubt one of the very best locations in Byron and Scott and Mark are great hosts. From the property you can hear the waves and the birds, it’s so peaceful and comfortable. Walk into central Byron, along the beach, in less than ten minutes. Scott’s property is excellent value for money, super comfortable and clean, and is dog friendly with a secure yard. Perfect!

The place was small but suprisingly roomy, had everything needed and the location was excellent. Walking distance form the beach and the town but private as well.

✨YOU CAN'T GET BETTER THAN THIS✨ River view & deck is great treat.. beautiful misty mornings & clear sunsets over the mangroves. The simple bungalow is all about the view, is spacious for a couple, easy to work in (and outside), and contains everything you may need. the salty Mangrove cafe (formally yum yum cafe) is an easy walk down the road (or along the beach). Peter and his team are welcoming, warm and friendly.

We had such a brilliant stay here, felt very much at home, the place was very luxurious, clean and very well equipped. Location was excellent, only a couple of minutes walk from beach and shops/restaurants. Highly recommend!

Kim was a fantastic host and her place was a brilliant place to base ourselves at our Byron escape. Very family friendly and Kim was very responsive and helpful.

Just a 10 minute walk from the hub of Byron Bay - with delicious restaurants, shops and the beautiful beaches. It’s in a prime location as it is so peaceful at night and with gorgeous views of the beach. The Airbnb is clean and has everything you need available. Would definitely recommend.

Had an amazing stay at Paul’s place. The best part about it was definitely the location as it is right across the road from the beach. It is very close to everything. Would 100% recommend this stay!

Great place! We didn’t use the bbq and pool as it was raining but the house itself was perfect for 6 people. Walking to the town was taking us about 24 mins, however, ubers were readily available in the area. The house was in a peaceful location.

We came to Byron to celebrate my wife's birthday, so all the family came with us. The Beach House is stunning, beautifully appointed and private and relaxing. The location being so close to town was the best with its privacy yet easy to walk to restaurants and the beach. We loved every minute of it. The staff were incredibly responsive and obliging.

Loved this place for our family of 5, cool, relaxed retro style, comfy couch and beds, really well set up and so close to the beach which my surfing husband and kids loved. Easy walk to town/cafes and shops and plus an easy loop walk to lighthouse. Even though it’s on a fairly busy road we found it super quiet and private and we were there during school holidays and Anzac weekend. Highly recommend!

The place was in an excellent location—just a 5-minute walk to the beach and about 30 minutes to the city center. The apartment was well-equipped with umbrellas and kitchen amenities, which made the stay comfortable and hassle-free. David was very friendly; he stopped by to check in on how my stay was going and even helped me store my luggage securely for later pickup after I had already checked out. I really enjoyed my stay!

Staying at Seahaven was an absolute pleasure. Grahame and Carol were very friendly and helpful, and the location was very close to the wonderful Watego's Beach, which we loved. I would thoroughly recommend staying here. We certainly intend to return!

Elsewhere Eco Resort is a breathtaking retreat, offering a beautifully designed and well-appointed eco pod. Nestled in a lush, gated bamboo garden, the pod sits on a private veranda where we relaxed in hammocks, listening to the ocean—absolutely amazing! The space is luxurious yet in perfect harmony with nature. The beach was just steps from our door, making it easy to enjoy peaceful strolls along the shore. The location, privacy, and thoughtful interior design made this an unforgettable experience. Every detail was carefully curated for comfort and relaxation. The pod itself was stunning, providing a serene escape while blending seamlessly with the environment. This is truly a five-star property that has it all. Lastly, a big thank you to Matt, who was incredibly flexible and generously allowed us a late checkout, making our stay even more enjoyable. Elsewhere Eco Resort is a hidden gem, and we can’t wait to return for another perfect getaway Highly recommend !!

We came for a restorative break before major surgery back in Europe. Jenny’s place and the environment surrounding it enabled that to happen. Walking to Suffolk park and or along the Tallow beachfront was a joy. We walked to Bryon Grocer along the beach and path (4ks) but caught an Uber back. So easy and so much fun in Byron. When it rained Jenny’s house had an outdoor space with table and chairs, bbq and comfy outdoor seating under a large roof. Perfect with our kindles. The kitchen worked well for us. The kitchen had a steam oven and it now looks likely that our house will need one. As they say in oz “bloody great mate”
