Beachfront holiday rental in Byron Bay

Amazing place! Doug and Deb's place is peaceful and comfortable. It is close to restaurants at Kingscliff and Casuarina or has everything you'd ever need to cook for yourself - we did a mix of both. The house is very welcoming and the beds very comfortable. There is a lovely walk to the beach and 2 cafes and there is also a dog friendly beach about 15-20 minutes' walk in the other direction. Don't miss Cubby cafe at Chinderah - a very short drive away. Go early to get a blueberry and lemon curd muffin - they're all gone by about 11am. All in all, we had a wonderful, relaxed 9 nights and highly recommend the house and its location.

Belongil is without a doubt one of the very best locations in Byron and Scott and Mark are great hosts. From the property you can hear the waves and the birds, it’s so peaceful and comfortable. Walk into central Byron, along the beach, in less than ten minutes. Scott’s property is excellent value for money, super comfortable and clean, and is dog friendly with a secure yard. Perfect!

Kathy was a wonderful and kind host. We requested early check in and Kathy responded promptly and was able to offer us this which we were very grateful for! The accomodation was beautiful and peaceful. Everything was clean and felt very homey. There was plenty of cookware, utensils, towels and blankets. There were heaters in each room which kept the rooms warm at night. Overall, very happy with our stay. It was affordable and a great location, only a short walk to the shops, food and the beach! Spacious villa with beautiful views. Loved seeing the water birds, boats and the stars over the water at night. Very responsive hosts, good communication.

Had a great short stay in South Kingscliff with our dog. Beautiful spot for relaxing and walking along the beach. Studio apartment nicely appointed and comfy bed. Debbie was also a great host.

My partner son and I had a wonderful stay at Lesley’s place - such a treat to go to sleep to the sound of the waves - beautiful Cabarita beach a few hundred metres walk away - Lesley’s place was spotless and comfortable and had everything we needed . Lesley was very responsive with communication and a great host. Thanks Lesley your place is a real gem .

The location of the accommodation was outstanding. The view is to die for we pretty much had the pool to ourselves and when we shared the rest of the guests were very respectful. If you are looking for a family friendly place to stay.. this is the place

A fantastic home in a great location. Just bad timing with builders replacing decks and making a lot of noise from 7.45am but once the new decks are completed that will be a great improvement. We were out most of the day so not too inconvenient.

Our first trip to Byron Bay , it didn’t disappoint . The apartment was in a great position for the beach and the town which had great shops, restaurants and bars which were walkable. Parking was easy both in the garage and on the street. The pool was well maintained and a lovely bonus. Beds were very comfortable and as each had a lovely bathroom it was very easy to manage. The apartment was easy to find and was very clean and well presented. Tanya responded quickly to my queries which were immediately resolved. Thank you , we had a great time and hope to be back.

Tricia was very welcoming and the apartment is in a great location - only a 2 minute walk to cafes, restaurants and the beach. Convenient and compact for a short stay. Thank you ☺️

Justin was extremely helpful and a great host, the apartment was in a beautiful location, very close to the beach with views from the balcony, walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants, the apartment was very clean and neat and tidy. Great place! We didn’t use the bbq and pool as it was raining but the house itself was perfect for 6 people. Walking to the town was taking us about 24 mins, however, ubers were readily available in the area. The house was in a peaceful location.

We loved it from the time we arrived to the time we left. The bedrooms were just beautiful, the beds and pillows were Devine! Given it was on a busy road it was extremely quiet. Being across from the beach and walking distance into town was amazing! We were there for our daughter’s wedding which was in Byron so it ticked all the boxes for what we needed and price wise, well it is Byron Bay but this place was worth it. We all loved it. Thank you Sarah and Deb for being great hosts and for a wonderful week in your beautiful Air BNB and we would come back again anytime!

Our host Jen was great, check-in / check-out a breeze. The house is beautiful, perfect a large family. It’s located right next to Clarkes Beach and the lighthouse track is right outside your front door. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Byron. 5 stars (would give 6 if able) 🌟

We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect. The kitchen was well appointed with beautiful new Essteele pots for cooking. Paula was a fantastic host.

Jo’s place is just magical! We loved the amazing views of the ocean from the deck. The house was so clean, tidy and spacious. We had the most wonderful weekend here. Jo put so much thought and attention to detail into the home for us. We felt so comfortable and welcome. Could not recommend Jo’s place more!

This apartment is second to none, modern, super clean, great layout and all the amenities you could want for. You get what you pay for and if you want the best, this is it at Coolangatta. Read all of the other reviews, they all share the same views. 5 stars for a reason. Gladly come back and recommend to all our friends, thanks Camille.

Asta’s place was beautiful and better than expected. It was a perfect space for my mum and sisters to have a long weekend away. The apartment is beautifully decorated, nice and big and such a good spot to spend with family. So close to town it was very walk around. Will stay again definitely.

We had a great couple of days. The place was perfect with a few added bonuses like sparkling water on tap. As other mentioned, if you are after somewhere quiet & peaceful, this probably isn't the place as it is right in the heart of town, close to restaurants, shops and the nightlife.....this made it noisy well into the night & early morning. The place has everything you could want and a stack of creature comforts to indulge in. Just a note that their welcome compendium needs a little updating but we managed to get by.

Loved our stay at the Base. The attention to detail in the design and furnishings made it an extra special place to stay. The local recommendations were exceptional. We loved the use of the bicycles. We highly recommend this place.
