One day, the father couldn't stand his new mother anymore, so he ran away from home and went to Incheon, where he became a lumber company employee. The smart boy who was quick to learn overcame all kinds of hardships and succeeded as the owner of a timber company. Many years later, the CEO who missed his hometown came down to Juksan and had an emotional reunion with his stepmother. He understood the circumstances of his new mother, who married into a poor family, and confessed that he had been mean to his son. The two embraced each other and untied the knot. The owner, who returned to Incheon, brought timber to build a four-square house and built a house for his new mother at the foot of Juksan Mountain. This is the story of Juk San Ai, built in 1906. In 2021, we remodeled and named the house 'Juk San Ai'. We invite you to Jukseon-ai, which was reborn through remodeling.

Hwaeng is located in the middle of Jeonju, in Taepyeong-dong, Wansan-gu. Taepyeong-dong was the center of transportation and commercial district with the first Jeonju Station and Yeoncho Manufacturing Building in the past, and it was built in 1969 with 50m2 in the residential alley, a village of merchants, utilizing the flood and geography at that time. Nowadays, the buildings of the past are disappearing and apartments and modern buildings are being built, but Hwaeng () was designed as a private stay for reflection as it was at that time. The name "Hwa-yeong" was created by comparing the flower that lives between the asphalt and concrete buildings to a flower blooming in the asphalt. In order to embody the flower that runs through Hwaeng, it is expressed concisely and clearly without losing the balance of yin and yang, and the beauty of symmetry and modernity, based on the materials that embodied the image of the Korean flower in the past. A flower in the city center, it responds with that flower.
