Escape and Step Back in Time - Spa, Wood Fire, 4 Poster Bed! Mintaro Hideaway Scholar Row Cottage

SamanthaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Cute little cottage in a peaceful town, description suits the property perfectly. Has all the amenities you need. The huge spa bath and fireplace is what sold us on choosing this property. Appreciated the complimentary basket of firewood, was the perfect amount for our 2 night stay. The only downside was how cold it was, even with the use of the heater and fireplace. The main bedroom was freezing but had extra blankets available. This was to be expected though with a property this old, just an fyi for anyone thinking of booking in winter!

The cottage was stunning. We loved the fairy lights in the backyard at night time and the cafe nearby. We were given a bottle of wine, beers, soft drinks and breakfast items which was a lovely surprise! We will definitely be staying again next time we visit the Clare Valley!

Unwind in Our Cosy 2 BR Spa Cottage with Log Fire. Mintaro Hideaway Carpenter

StuartRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Lovely relaxing place for a quiet weekend away. The cottage is gorgeous and cozy and comfy, and the courtyard was a lovely place to sit and unwind in the afternoon. Love the fireplace and the spa, and Mintaro has more on the doorstep than we realised (or were able to get to.) Will stay there again next time we go to the Clare Valley.

We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay and wished we had stayed longer. The provisions in the cottage were first class along with the glass of wine and snacks at the restaurant during our stay. We will be back.

What a wonderful place to stay. Beautifully put together, comfortable and peaceful. And the absolute bonus was our wonderful host, Robert. Such a treasure and so generous in his hosting. We would thoroughly recommend staying here as a base for some exploring of the Clare Valley.

Owl Cottage

CarolRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This place was fantastic, overlooking the valley and the winery made for a very peaceful evening after full days exploring the surrounding Clare Valley. I would highly recommend this to groups of friends and make sure you schedule time to pop into the winery. The provisions for breakfast were above and beyond.

Amy's House 3. (3 Bedroom House)

BrookeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely town to visit and stay. The place was spotless and such beautiful touches added. A selection of breakfast items were thoughtfully supplied. The yard is not secure, however, lovely to have a walk around. There’s a nice walk to the end of the street with a park, lot of wildlife and other residential dogs in the street. . So best to keep dogs on lead. Thank you for offering pet friendly accommodation.

Tickles Cottage in a beautiful Rural Setting

MarkRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Beautiful heritage style cottage about 5 minutes out from Mintaro. Plenty of space for 4 adults with cute eat in kitchen and living space with wood fired combustion fireplace. There was plenty of firewood for 3 nights. The kitchen was well stocked. Nice touches with freshly squeezed juice, milk, fresh butter and a complimentary bottle of local wine all help rate this stay 5/5. Margaret was very responsive and even accommodated our two toddlers with a super comfortable air mattress.

Council Chambers, Bungaree Station, Clare Valley

LinaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Bungaroo station was a beautiful tranquil location and the Council chambers was everything it mentioned! We all thoroughly enjoyed the place, my children loved feeding the animals in the morning and parents from overseas enjoyed the extra space and opportunity to have a wonderful and explore the surroundings! Couldn’t fault it if I tried and will most defiantly recommend. Hoping to visit again with friends and their children

Manager's House, Bungaree Station, Clare Valley

PeterRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved our stay at the Manager’s House at Bungaree Station. It’s full of character, beautifully maintained, and incredibly cosy—especially with the fireplace going on cooler nights. The house felt like a true home away from home. Set in peaceful surroundings with historic charm, it’s a perfect base to explore the Clare Valley. Clare itself is a welcoming town with great wine, food, and friendly locals. Highly recommend for a relaxing and memorable getaway. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

hillside cottage built 1864 with garden

HelenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
As described, the cottage was built in the 1800's and still has it's original floorboards. The house was cold (mid May) when we got in but Gloria provided plenty of heaters to take the chill away. The beds were comfortable with additional blankets/quilts/throw rugs around the place if needed. The two queen beds had electric blankets. The two single beds in the coal cellar (be careful climbing down) had an oil heater in the room to keep the room comfy. Eating off crockery from a bygone era was a treat. The outside washing machine and dryer made the travelling life easier.

Our stay was relaxing as we toasted our toes in front of the wood heater. The surroundings were peaceful and the history of the property was well worth the visit. Close to Clare for a jaunt to the wineries and local eateries. Highly recommend!

Elderton Wines Guest House

JulieRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This is an older homestead that is beautifully maintained. The home has all the facilities you’d expect. Everything is sparkly clean. The two main bedrooms are just lovely with super comfortable beds (the third bedroom is a great kids area). The kitchen is a big family space that is the focal point of the house. We lived like locals and really enjoyed our stay.
