We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the place is even better than the pictures and far exceeded our expectations. We loved it! Extremely clean and comfortable for our 4 day visit -the hosts go above and beyond to ensure your comfort and every detail is perfect! Everything is as stated, and we had no issues. We really appreciated all of the many extras, such as the excellent selection of guidebooks for the UP and surrounding areas. These are very helpful if you're a hiker, rock collector or interested in local history. You have a driveway to park and are able to easily walk to the local restaurants, stores and most importantly the beautiful lake! We would definitely book again.

Affordable Lake Superior views! Pictured Rocks!

Magnificent lake view and the perfect deck to enjoy the view! You can actually see the sunrise in the morning. Ample space with all the necessities. Like some of the reviews, the house is a bit old but it does not affect the quality of your stay. The only thing kind of bothers me (tiny bit) is the kitchen light. It’s relatively dark so not very convenient to cook when it’s dark outside. Otherwise, this place is a gem!

We loves our stay! The home is SO cute. And every detail was considered to make the home dog friendly. I love the proactive communication from Jacky to make sure we were taken care of at every turn. This home is the perfect quaint cottage... and feela JUST at home! We loved EVERY minute of our stay. The lake views were also incredible!

The Bhombay Beach House on Sandy Lake Huron~!

We loved everything about the Bhombay Beach House! It was private, cozy, and super clean. We appreciated the full kitchen (coffeemaker/coffee, full-sized fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, glassware, and utensils), since we like to save $$$ by making breakfast while on vacation. Bob was very responsive without being intrusive. He provided extra amenities without our asking (umbrellas and nighttime snacks!). The large-screen TV included Netflix ... lots of DVDs, too. The views of the beach (Lake Huron) from the living room and kitchen were gorgeous. It was too chilly to use the firepit, but we walked the beach on our last day, which was lovely. LOVED being so close to the water! We were just up the street from the ferry to Mackinac Island. We had never been, and it didn't disappoint. Horse-drawn carriages, the Grand Hotel, funky restaurants, lots of bicycles, fudge! Make sure to visit Bob (and Thom's) store, Cottage UP. Great finds! In short, a perfect stay in every way. Lake View, Fully Furnished Home, Close To Ferry's!

This was an awesome trip. The house was so clean, we didn't even have to wipe down a countertop! Everything is as described in the pictures! Gregory answered any questions we had so promptly. The location was wonderful, we set out by the firepit each evening and watched barges across the street go down the water way. The house was equipped with everything we needed, the drawers were labeled, very easy to find whatever you needed. The location was perfect, restaurants and breweries were close and the local fish, walleye and whitefish were excellent. Mackinac Island Ferry in St Ignace was very close and the Island is so worth the trip. We did the Carriage House Island tour, I strongly recommend this tour when visiting the island! Sault Sue Marie was just an hour away, we did the Soo Lock Tour it was very informational. We had an added extra, Canada was having an Air Show and we were able to enjoy the Snowbird's show!

This place couldn't be any more perfect if we had owned and decorated it ourselves. Everything we could hope to have for our stay was there. From the plentiful kitchen of glasses, pots, pans, bowls, etc., to the blankets in the living room, games, emergency kit, brochure and highlights board, books, etc. This place was amazing. Best Airbnb we've ever stayed at.

October 19-22, 2024. We loved staying at your beautiful, clean and comfy cottage! It was the perfect landing spot for our amazing Pictured Rocks Cruise, checking in a bit early to get to the cruise on time was perfect! We enjoyed bopping around the waterfalls and 12 mile beach. A Dream Getaway at Britta's Lakefront Cabin! We had the most incredible stay at Britta’s cabin on the lake in the Upper Peninsula! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene setting and breathtaking views of the lake. The cabin itself is beautifully designed and spacious made it feel like a home away from home Britta was an exceptional host—she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Communication was seamless from the start, and she provided us with helpful recommendations. She clearly cares about her guests and has thought of every detail to make the experience unforgettable. If you're looking for a relaxing, picturesque retreat with a perfect balance of nature and comfort, this cabin is the place to be. We’re already planning our next visit and can't wait to return to Britta’s beautiful lakeside escape! Highly recommend!

We had a great time during our stay. The cabin was perfect for us and was directly across from a gas station and Andy’s Bar which had good food and atmosphere. Cabin was right on the snowmobile trail and had pull through parking which was great for the snowmobile trailer. Definitely would book again!

We had such a great time at the Deerfoot lodge. We originally rented the smaller of the two cabins, but there was a small issue that needed to be fixed in the smaller one, and no one was staying in the larger cabin, we got a surprise upgrade! 2 houses on the property makes for an amazing chance to get the whole family together for an adventure!! The kids loved the little built in playroom under the stairs and the foosball table! Great location for quick trips to Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point, snowmobile trails, and other attractions in the U.P. Highly recommend stopping at The Buckhorn for delicious dinner!! 10/10 would definitely stay again!! Thanks to Julie for the perfect getaway spot!

Great spot! Cute and clean with everything you need. Great snowmobiling. When we got three feet of snow over the course of a couple days, Lynn and Mike plowed us out on call. Very friendly and responsive. We will be back!
