Such a charming place! The layout of the house was great, and we loved being able to park in the back. The host thought of the little extras - throw blankets, shampoo/conditioner and body wash, and sound machines in the bedrooms! I was able to take long walks in the morning and felt completely safe in the neighborhood. I would definitely stay there again!

Sarah's place is lovely and quiet, overlooking the golf course and a view of the mountains. The neighbors were delightful, which added to the charm of our stay. The place was comfortable and spacious. Great to have the extra room and bath on the lower level, which makes it even more private. If you're looking for a place in the mountains near a lake, would recommend.

It was perfect for us. We wanted to be close to Wiseman’s View and this was a beautiful 30 minute drive there. Our kids loved it too. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed for a long weekend with out two Pugs and it was a very peaceful, beautiful place. The cabin was clean and welcoming. There were many condiments for cooking and an IGA about 10 minutes away. You probably want to bring food for the first night because the IGA is not going to be easy to find after dark. June was super nice and great communicataion. We would love to come back another time and stay longer. Our friends even want to go with us next time.

We were in town to visit family and this location was perfect for us! The home itself is absolutely beautiful! We loved all of the plants, watching the birds, and sitting out back just relaxing! The inside of the home was just as comfortable! Plenty of space, comfortable furniture, clean and free of clutter, and just so cute! Definitely felt like home! Joseph was very helpful and answered all of my questions and concerns. We would definitely come back!!

This was a great spot for my family to stay while we were in town for my Grandma's 90th birthday. The house was great. Everything was comfy and clean with all the amenities you could want. It was a great location for getting into town and getting into the mountains. Gerri and Randy were very helpful and responsive. Everything was excellent!!

We felt right at home as soon as we checked in. The cabin was exactly as described... beautifully decorated, clean and had eveything we needed to enjoy our stay. We will be returning!

WONDERFUL. Mark and Kimberly really set the bars with the home and communication! They were quick to respond always helpful! The home was beautiful it was just what we needed! We were only 15 min from downtown Morganton but still got to experience the mountains with the location. 10/10 we will definitely be booking again!

Overall, the stay at Blind place was great! House was clean, location was great, and Blin was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hike down to the water is challenging and accurately portrayed in the listing. Be prepared for a steep ascent when you’re done on the water.

Our family of 7 had a wonderful stay! The cabin was very clean and looked like new. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

This was our first time to Lake James and we are definitely coming back! The house was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our needs. It was very clean and had everything in great supply. Like others have written, the house is bigger than the pics let on. Susan was proactive with making sure we had the address, codes, etc before we arrived and very responsive if we had a question. All in all, it was a great time with the family!

Nicole's place is very quiet, peaceful and serene. Neighbors we nice and friendly. We felt right at home. Plenty of things to keep kids busy.

Had an amazing stay! The place was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway—comfortable lodging with stunning views for both sunrise and sunset. Loved watching the local wildlife roam and exploring the great hiking trails nearby. There was plenty to do, yet it was also the perfect spot to unwind. Hope to return again soon! We have long been visitors to the Linville Gorge area and had a big weekend of activites planned. This house was the perfect hub spot and provided everything we needed to relax and recover in between adventures. None of us were sad about the lack of internet - unplugging was an added bonus!

Adrianne's response was quick! Nice place to stay for the money. Just can't understand why many would want to come to this area for vacation. Adrianne's place was adequate and performed well for my work crew that built my house.

Lauren went above and beyond with this amazing cabin tucked away in the woods. There is such a strong attention to detail that can’t go unnoticed from the home curated coffee left for you to enjoy to the claw foot bathtub and then back around to the adorable loft with a hammock you will truly feel that this is more than an Airbnb. This is an experience. Wish we didn’t have to leave!

Host was very responsive. Not anything that is their fault and they gave good directions but it’s a little confusing just due to the hurricane destroying access to get to the property. Otherwise it was a quiet neighborhood a great location. And they gave awesome recommendations for local things to do. We came for the hiking but did so many things locally. I would book again for sure!

My only wish is that I owned a place like this on the lake myself!
