My parents stayed here and really loved the getaway. Wendy was very responsive and accomodating. Lots of nice touches including fresh eggs. Wendy extended the trip post a cancellation which was fantastic. The weather wasn’t ideal but it was the perfect spot for a cosy getaway, right by the ocean. Thanks so much, we will be back!

Gay and Dave's place is probably the best BnB experience we've had. They are amazing and very generous hosts. The place has everything you could want and te home cooked breakfast is an amazing spread. Highly recommended, would stay with them again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Beautiful scenery, plenty of walks and swimming hole within easy driving distance. Also llovely garden and accommodation to relax in. Louise was helpful, friendly, and went out of her way to make our stay an experience to remember. Bed very comfortable and spacious room. If we are ever in the area again would love to return. Thoroughly recommend!

This was our best stay so far in New Zealand with my new wife on our honeymoon! It is extremely private, and romantic! The view of the ocean, and the hills from the porch is amazing! We wish we could have stayed longer! Jude was very friendly! She even put together a flower bouquet from the field free of charge, as a surprise for my new wife! She also let us stay an hour after checkout, to enjoy the place!

We absolutely loved our stay - a beautiful place and perfect location to to explore the beautiful west coast. The Portside Bistro and Bar - only a 5 min walk from the house - was a wonderful place to eat and drink. Absolutely recommend this beautiful home :)

We had a short but lovely stay in Cape Foulwind, truly a hidden gem. Richard and Denise were kind and welcoming, and we had some nice chats in the evening and during breakfast. Within a short walk, enough wonderful nature is to be seen and dining in the local pub is also highly recommended, to make this a relaxing and beautiful stay.

I had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the whole experience easy and welcoming. Great location too! I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to come back again.

Tony and Leanne are fantastic hosts with great humour. Their place is full of character of a country house and is well kept, true to the photos shown. Their border collie, Candy is really cool and friendly. She entertained us, especially my teenage son, with her basket ball catching skills. Our warm breakfast was delicious and warm, served with hot and cold beverages, it was especially heart warming on a New Year morning.
