Located at the mouth of the Coquille River, it's charm and natural beauty make it a great place for a golf vacation or a place to relax and do some beachcombing. Enjoy this fully equipped home: * Upstairs great room with wonderful views, large TV * Oceanfront balcony to enjoy coffee or just the view * Full kitchen upstairs including granite counter tops, side-by-side refrigerator with ice in the door, Dishwasher, Gas cooking appliances. We recommend an automobile, and have parking for 3 vehicles with 2 garage spaces and room behind for additional parking, including for a boat trailer. Most of our contact will be through email and on the phone. We are frequently in Bandon and our housekeepers are in town and any of us will be available in case of any problems. We have one of the most beautiful and picturesque beaches in the world. Our home is on the bluff overlooking the ocean with good beach accessat either end of the block. We are close to City Parkwith a kid's playground and friendly library. It's a short drive to Old Town's shops and restaurants, and about 5 miles south to Bandon Crossings' great golf or 15 minutes north to Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. Bandon, Oregon is a wonderful coastal retreat, with quaint shops and restaurants, a crabbing and fishing dock, and charter fishing. It has miles of lovely beaches, tide pools, wildlife, and pounding surf. There's lots to do: horseback riding on the beach, flying kites, kayaking through the Bandon Marsh, fishing for salmon in Coquille River, exploring the Sand Dune National Recreation Area (about a half hour drive), or serving as a base for day trips, such as south to the Redwoods National Park in northern California. GOLF: Some land is meant for Golf. Bandon, Oregon is one of those places. Bandon Crossings Golf Courseis a unique and interesting 18 hole course with carts available, and recommended as a hidden gem by Links Magazine, and ranked by GOLF Magazine in the top 100 courses in the US under $150.
