Holiday rentals with a kayak in Brown County

Absolutely a beautiful place to stay. We were a group of coworkers, but the house is definitely a place for a family. I will try to make time to come back with the family.

Great place for our family to gather, play games, hike and explore Sturgeon Bay! Beautiful home with all conveniences we needed. Plenty of bird watching in front of home, and hiking in Potowotami SP was a blast. Dan was a phenomenal host and felt he was available any time to answer questions or provide direction. Can’t wait to return!

Our stay was great. We loved the view on the lake and beautiful sunsets. The kitchen was well stocked. Dana was proactive and very responsive!

6 adults shared the house, it was just as advertised, clean, private, comfortable, plenty of room for all of us. The location was perfect, right on the lake, plenty of food, drink and outdoor activities just a short drive away. We had a very enjoyable family reunion here and would recommend staying here to anyone. Communication with the hosts was excellent, responses were made quickly and accurately. Thanks Erin for a really good time!

Great location right on the lake and a 20ish min drive to the door county towns for activities. We used the kayaks every day and had a fire on the water which was my favorite part. It was a quiet and peaceful street for walks. The host was very present and messaged throughout the stay to ensure we were alright - although we never ran into issues. I wish there had been beach towels in addition to the white towels we used in the bathroom - however they do provide a washer & dryer so we washed the towels after using from the hot tub/lake. Also the hot tub is only for 2 adults - we tried to squeeze 4 in and it was tight.

Great place to stay. House is very large and has plenty of room for a lot of guests. Kitchen and bathrooms are all well stocked and there are a lot of extras that you won’t get at most units. It was also nice to have so many beds on each floor and the availability of the air mattress. Would highly recommend if staying in this area.

Peaceful retreat . host where easy to communicate and work with.

We take a fishing trip every year, Blia's place is the best place we've ever stayed in! It has all the comforts of home, she anticipated every need you could ever have! Clean, modern and peaceful, we will definitely book this house again.

Such a beautiful stay on a quiet lake! Home is very dog friendly- it even had a whole basket of toys which our dog loved! It’s only 10 minutes into town, and lots of hiking/exploring all within 30 minutes. Nancy was always quick to respond when I had questions. Don’t hesitate to book this gem!

We stayed for three nights and enjoyed our selves very much! Pros about staying: Full Kitchen - I had everything I needed to cook and serve. Seasoning and sauces available too Coffee Bar - Had a cute coffee area with flavors, teas, coffee, big comfy cups and more Hot Tub - Clean, comfy, private.. loved it! Lake View - Beautiful Views, easy access to the lake. gorgeous sunrises and sunsets that you can look at through the large windows or the patio. Clean - Very Clean home! Bedrooms - Large bedrooms with closet space to put your clothing in. Ceiling fans in each room. Cot and a pack and play available. Comfy soft beds with plenty of pillows and blankets Dining - table for 8 and a kitchen island that seats 6 Entertainment - Plenty of board games Communication - he sent us "how to" videos on how to use the fire pit and hot tub - genius if you ask me! Appliances - Great, clean washer and dryer and Dish washer. Air Conditioner was easy to use and access. Shower - water pressure was great!

A perfect place to celebrate our anniversary! Very private, remote property with a beautiful view of the bay. I knew I wanted to stay here from the moment I saw the pictures! Although it was just 2 of us, this home has 3 bedrooms, perfect for a family reunion who want to be away from the bustle of Door County, but still close enough to enjoy its offerings. The home was clean, neat & comfortable. The view of the water was breathtaking & very relaxing. We enjoyed sitting around the firepit at night watching the sunset. For anyone who loves to cook, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything to make a Thanksgiving Feast! Not just dishes, but a variety of bakeware, cookware, utensils for everything including skewers for s'mores! We walked around the neighborhood, admiring the beautiful homes with the bay on one side & forest on the other. Tim & Melissa could not have been nicer! Great at communicating with us, always replying promptly to our messages. You will not be disappointed here!

Beautiful spot- so quiet and peaceful. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Christina was very responsive and made this a very easy stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for the weekend. There were lots of fun games, cool music gear, and a great view. The step to the front door is a bit of a hazard, so just something to be aware of. The photos make the space look a little larger than it actually is, but it was still comfortable. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate so we couldn’t fully enjoy the deck and water, but we’d definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful long weekend in this super cozy, extremely clean home where we had everything we needed. The view and sunsets were amazing, and we enjoyed the backyard even though the weather was a little chilly. Check in was easy and Natasha was very responsive. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again!

First off -- this place already goes beyond expectations on the things you would expect from your airbnb stay: it's clean, it's easy to get inside, host communicates well, comfortable beds, etc. etc. But for the unexpected... it's the charm of this little cottage that had us totally smitten. It was the first time in a really long time that I stayed in an airbnb that didn't feel like some cold-sterile-side-hustle from some rando. This place is the real deal... the pictures are too understated. It looks like an old place, but you know that Pam has put in the work to make this place feel comfortable for her guests. Wifi is spotty, but man, it got us off our phones and connected with nature, and each other. If you're looking to connect with your friends and/or fam and have an outstanding green bay view to wake up to every morning and sunsets to mesmerize you every evening, you can't go wrong wit this place. Thanks Pam -- you're a star!!

We spent four nights in the cabin and truly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was pristine and offers a lovely, wide view of the bay. Don and Pam have made an effort to offer not only that built-in view, but also front and back yards with pretty flowers and plants. They have also clearly made an effort to offer up a pretty home with many special touches. We appreciated that the cabin was stocked with many helpful items, such as Saran, baggies, coffee, seasonings - all the things you don't want to have buy and then toss at the end of a trip barely used. Plus, we found this area to be a good jumping off point for the entire peninsula and handy to the necessities, such as a grocery store in Sturgeon Bay. We also enjoyed many walks around the neighborhood, which is woodsy and beautiful.

Nice area, a little out of the way with a fire pit by the river. It was very peaceful and not too much a drive from local attractions like the farm, cave point and sturgeon bay

Our stay was phenomenal, the place was very clean and the king bed was probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Would definitely book again!

Our stay at the Dockside Retreat was absolutely fantastic! The home offered a peaceful stay, with plenty of options for adults and children. We loved the quiet canal and kayaks, neighborhood family walks and cannot say enough about the pool, hot tub and fire pit areas! There was plenty of room for our family to spread out, while enjoying time together in the open floor plan of the main living spaces. Beautifully decorated and clean throughout, with many thoughtful touches. Jenny and Jeff were quick to respond with questions we had, and went above and beyond for all of our time—thank you again!!

Great little place, off the road and on the Bay. In town for fishing and the place was great for our group of 3 and 1 boat. The space inside is great! Nice to have the attached garage for gear if needed as well. Will definitely book again when needed!

Amazing place -- the island and bay are beautiful, the cabin is cozy and has everything you need for a weekend (or more) of relaxation & fun. Hosts are friendly & responsive. We had a wonderful time, hope to return again in the future.

Ashley was an excellent host and we loved our stay at Hidden Haven! The cabin was adorable and well equipped for our cozy, relaxed week. The lake with beach access is across the street and can be seen from the cabin. The beds were comfortable with lots of extra pillows and blankets. The fire pit was great and we loved drinking our coffee on the front porch. I'd gladly stay here again! Thank you, Ashley!

I really enjoyed staying at Tranquil Shores. It was beautiful, peaceful & full of wildlife. I live in the city and as you can imagine the traffic and working a 9-5 can be stressful. I needed to get away and find somewhere to get my mind off things. I stumbled upon Tranquil Shores and i booked it after seeing the pictures. What a beautiful place and the hosts were amazing. I honestly didn’t want to leave haha, i was getting use to this life. Unfortunately i have to go back to work, but I’ll definitely be back!! I cannot wait to come here again. Thank you so much!!! I’ll be booking you guys again soon :)!!
