We had a wonderful stay at this unique home in Kyalami. The place felt like a private lodge, with quirky decor that added so much charm and character. We especially loved spotting the deer and tortoises roaming around—it gave the whole experience a peaceful, nature-filled vibe. The garden, pool, and outdoor area were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning African sunsets. The 4-bedroom house was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped for a group. Gary, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tranquil, one-of-a-kind getaway close to nature.

The property was simply amazing. The rooms were big each with lovely ensuite bathrooms. It has a well appointed kitchen and a large dining room table that would sit 10 people very comfortably. An added bonus is the dining room table converts to a pool table. The area is extremely quiet away from the hussle and bustle of Johannesburg and superbly situated to get to the various golf courses we were playing as well as some great restaurants. It has all the facilities for entertaining outside including a swimming pool which would be amazing in the summer months, as well as a large garden. The house is kept spotless by housekeeping who came in every day (except Sunday) to clean and make up the rooms. Finally, I cannot say enough about our host Charmaine. Very friendly and responsive throughout the whole process. Thank you Charmaine, you were brilliant and we all thank you for letting us feel so at home!

This was our second stay at Maddy's place. Beautiful home, large bedrooms enough to accommodate my large family. Very clean. Great communication throughout and they accommodated our awkward check out time due to our flights out. Highly recommend!

EXCELLENT property in an ideal neighborhood. I felt right at home upon entry, This i s a very peaceful community where you can relax and rest extremely well. RAOUL, the host was very professional and accommodating, I will recommend this properly to my family and friends who plan to travel to South Africa.

This was truly a place of great peace and tranquility. This is a perfect escape for a group of family or friends! The garden is lush and the view of the river so scenic. The house is also beautifully furnished. We spend hours on the patios enjoying the garden view and the fairy lights at night. Coffee in the morning sun on one of the two patios come highly recommended. Hilde also welcomed us with a tasty apple pie home bake. You also have plenty of places to visit in the area and a very easy drive to Hartebeespoort dam. The place is also near Lanseria airport. Do yourself a favour and book.

My family and I had a great experience staying at this Airbnb. The place was exactly as described and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect. The host was friendly and responsive, making check-in and check-out a breeze. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

This place was perfect for me and my family. It matched the description and photos exactly, and Alice and Bob were responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The spacious outdoor area was a big highlight—it gave our kids plenty of room to play and provided a fantastic space for a braai. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to others.

A lovely, large and well equipped house with garden and pool within walking distance of Parkhurst restaurants and shops. A great place to stay if visiting Joburg - felt very comfortable. Hannah was very professional and friendly and we felt very at home.

Khanya was the best host, the place is beautiful as advertised and peaceful. She was very friendly, proactive and always respond when i called or text. She gave me a list of activities which made my whole stay the best. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and i wouldn’t mind visiting again. ♥️♥️🫶🏼🫶🏼

Home away from home is the only way to describe this place. Beautifully decor designed inside and outside. Great location, easy to get to places around Johannesburg. The house is clean and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Patrick is an amazing host. Communication was great, always so attentive. Very friendly and welcoming. The highlight for our stay was the braai area. Such a nice hangout place to have as a feature. Looks exactly as described. Definitely booking again in the near future.

Exactly as pictured and more!! What a treat, tucked away and surrounded by beautiful greenery all around the property. It is decorated with stunning pieces but still feels like home away from home. My visit was short but I will be back. Tash and the housekeeper Shayla were so sweet and helpful through the entirely of our stay.

The house is lovely, the idea of not having a TV encourages communication and bonding for family. We enjoyed being there, and the hosts communication is exceptional.

What a gem!! We are a group of business people from London, UK who get away once a year to a nice place to relax, learn and recreate together. We had never been to Johannesburg, proper and especially not to Sandton. The house was very clean & was perfect for us. Large and spacious with a beautiful pool, steaming hot tub and yard in the back. The whole place is made for entertaining. The area is lush and didn't feel urban even though it is surrounded by other nice homes. What a special home. I only hope this home is available to rent out again in the future. We want to go there every time we visit Johannesburg 🙂❤️

Great stay at Wandas. She accommodated us quite late and made sure everything was ready. House was amazing and very close to clubhouse.

Had a wonderful stay here - beautiful space, clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. It had everything we needed, the house didn’t have a hairdryer and once requested for it Pabi made sure to get one for us which was really appreciated! What really made the experience stand out was our host’s warm hospitality, we felt right at home from arrival. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay! I would absolutely return and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Absolutely stunning home near everything we needed. It was also conveniently close to family and friends. Incredible Stay – Highly Recommended! This house was everything and more! It’s spacious, clean, stylish, and located in a peaceful, safe neighborhood with no noise – perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was exceptional – always available, kind, and incredibly attentive. You can tell there’s serious care and thought put into every detail of the space. Rooms are large, bathrooms are big and spotless, and the overall layout is just beautiful. The outdoor area is a dream – clean pool, amazing patio, and a top-notch braai area. Truly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Worth every cent. I’d book it again without hesitation!

We had a lovely stay, no complaints. Anita and her husband were very responsive. We had a barbecue and us ladies couldn’t figure out how to turn on the BBQ stand and Anita’s husband arrived within 5mins to help us out! There was a moment of load shedding and he showed up immediately to turn on the solar before we eben called. The responsiveness made it feel so safe. We felt safe during the entirety of our stay at all hours which we appreciate as we were visiting from Australia so we were super worried before arriving. The house was pristine. The kitchen utensils were thoughtfully selected. Using everything felt so comfortable. We felt right at home and so so so hope that this Airbnb will be available next time we’re back because we will definitely book again! Thank you so much Anita and husband
