Right from the start it felt homely and welcoming. I loved the information booklet in the apartment explaining the history of the place. There was a lovely little hamper filled with bread, welsh cakes and preservatives from the farm. They had thought of everything for a perfect stay!

Fantastic host! Very attentive and had thought of everything. We arrived at Afan Lodge in the dark, when we woke up and looked out the window the next day we were greeted by the most wonderful view. I traveled with my two young (5&10yrs) children and while we were at the Lodge they were kept busy with all of the bits that Krisztina had supplied and use of the garden. Afan Lodge is a great base to get to attractions and surrounding areas, with a 20 minute drive to the beach. The valley would also be a fantastic place to go biking! We would definitely visit again

We had a wonderful stay in very comfortable surroundings. The accommodation had everything we needed. It was delightfully near the beach with a lovely view. We walked through the garden down to the beautiful Rest Bay beach. We will definitely book again👍

Michael's place was squeaky clean,,, very comfortable, peaceful very modern,cosy little home from home, everything you needed for a great stay would not hesitate to recommend 👌 10 out 10 from me.

The location was perfect—right in the centre, with easy access to shops, cafes, and the seafront. The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The host was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to explore Porthcawl!

Lee was the perfect host responded quickly and was there to greet us on arrival and show us around. The van is really comfortable and had everything we needed and more! Would definitely stay here again.

Very nicely furnished flat - parking is a bit of a problem, but we found a space up the hill which was OK. It is ground floor, with two steps up into the living room, which was OK for my wife who has mobility problems.

Great welcome and studio apartment was perfect for my stay. Very comfortable. Parking was great - very close to accommodation. Very clean and well equipped .

We stayed here for our wedding night. Absolutely beautiful accommodation, lovely touch of petals on the bed. Grounds were stunning and I even had a cuddle with the resident ginger cat. Would love to stay again.

Muhammad and his wife were very welcoming and pleasant! They did everything they could to make us to feel at home, which we very much appreciated it! The place was lovely, spotless clean, comfy bed, clean and soft bedding and towels. There is a space for making tea and coffees with some tea, coffee and milk available to be used , which is a nice touch! The shower is great and there is a big bath , if you like baths, very clean and very big! The sea view from the bedroom window was a massive plus, you see the sea from lying on the bed! The location is great situated on top of Swansea, you get the view from two bays one on the left and one on the right, hence the house’s name is called Highbay! In summary, the whole experience was a lovely and pleasant stay, we very much appreciate the thought and the effort put into it, by Muhammad and his wife! Lovely weekend break at the coach house. Accommodation was great, perfect for self catering, very comfortable beds with great quality bedding! 15 - 20 min walk to the beach, same distance (in the opposite direction) to the local pub and shops.

Had a lovely weekend stay here, had everything we needed plus the bed was so comfy! thanks for having us :)

The whole place is an experience in itself form the front desk, to the staff, and the animals. Everything was looked after and shaped to look luxe, even on a rainy day. The accommodation was exactly how it was depicted, showing true heritage and a creative way of using the space whilst being a novelty everything was very tasteful. I will be visiting again, thanks Lorraine and the team
