Relax by the water, roast some s'mores by the firepit, or enjoy the sunset over the lake. You will enjoy all that Cape Breton Island can offer. Welcome to your home away from home!

Waterfront 4 bedroom house with hot tub

Welcome to “Point Beithe” (birch point in Gaelic). This beautiful home sits on its own point surrounded by 180° of Mira River waterfront age. You will also enjoy access to your own small private island that is connected by a shallow sand bar. Sit out on the large deck or floating dock to enjoy the views of the river, launch kayaks, paddle boards, and swim. We have signed up for the strongest internet service offered in the area (Starlink). Cellular reception is not great in the area.

Beach House on Bras d’Or Lakes

Each person after the first 2, will be charged an additional $30/night. Due to the delicate nature of rural utilities, only paying guests are welcome to use the property. No gatherings or parties. The Bunkie is a STAND ALONE structure, separate from the Beach House. Consider this if traveling with young kids. This cozy bunkie (10’ x 14’) sports a comfy King sized bed, vaulted ceiling, great views and a covered deck. THIIS IS THE ONLY CLIMATE CONTROLLED AREA at the property.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, our home offers you and your loved ones an opportunity to get away and enjoy some downtime. We have a fully outfitted kitchen and bathroom with everything you need, and our sofa pulls out to accommodate extra guests for those game nights that run into overtime.

Surrounded by crown land, our property offers complete privacy and boasts a beautiful waterfall. This cabin is one of 4 little cabins on the property. Each is private, so come unwind on your private deck, grill up dinner, and enjoy board games, reading, or yoga. Come relax in the tranquil surroundings and make unforgettable memories!
