This place is our sacred go-to spot when we want to get out of the city and immerse ourselves in nature. This place has special significance for our family because it was here that as a child, we would spend whole days watching over the cows, reading and dreaming as the sun moved across the sky towards dusk. We have recently completed renovations, adding solar & central heating and we would love to share it with people who are looking for a unique experience in an unexplored region of Portugal.

Now, if you want to get to know a genuine Quinta do Douro, located in a place of unique beauty and tranquility, where you will be welcomed by those who put their hands (and feet) in the production of wine, we will do our best to provide you with a beautiful stay. We are in the Upper Douro, bathed by the river. We have this small independent house - the Casa do Losango - and also three rooms in the main house.

A Casa do Rebelhe situa-se na pacata aldeia de Rio de Fornos, a cerca de 3 Km de Vinhais, 30km de Bragança e a 20 km da fronteira de Espanha via Moimenta. A aldeia de Rio de Fornos tem uma rara beleza paisagística, com suaves encostas repletas de castanheiros. Poderá experienciar a vida na aldeia, colher as frutas da época diretamente da árvore, ajudar a alimentar os animais, e acompanhar as lides agrícolas locais.

Charming studio in nature - Inverno

Bungalow with double bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, living room with sofa bed, wood burning stove and private balcony. Set on a gentle slope overlooking meadows and oak woodland. It has a parking lot and garden, and access to the accommodation is on foot, via stairs. Although breakfast is not served, a welcome basket is delivered upon arrival with bread, butter, homemade jam, honey and yogurts (or a vegan alternative, if requested in advance).

O restauro teve como objetivo principal manter o espaço fiel à original casa construída no final dos anos 50 e foi nas águas-furtadas que criámos este apartamento.
