Great stay at Megan's Mid Century Modern Ski Chalet for 4 plus 1 pet. Quaint and private place for those wanting something different from the norm.

Had a great stay. The pictures don’t do it justice. Has a great set up for some up north fun!

there was plenty of room for seven people. the rooms were all big. there was enough stuff in the kitchen to use. the only thing I wish was a half bath upstairs people had to come down to use the bathrooms. but other than that it was great

We had three generations staying and the size of the place and ability to spread out made it very comfortable for all to have their own spaces, especially the kids. The kitchen/dining allows for prepping/cooking/eating with space to spare. The view on the course is lovely and the deck and fire pit are a great way to take it in. We took advantage of the indoor & outdoor pool as well as the private beach on Lake Bellaire. Golfed the Summit, hit at the range and played kickball golf! I recommend Torch Lake Pontoon for a day trip on that beautiful lake. So much available in the resort and surrounding area to do - a great place for a family vacation.

beautiful home far from road. peaceful and spacious. very comfortable inside and out with large deck and fireplace for relaxing at night.

We had a wonderful stay and it was perfect for our group outing. Everyone was comfortable and the space had everything we needed. We liked that both kitchens were well stocked with cooking and kitchen ware as well as storage space for all our needs. Almost every room having their own bathroom was very nice, and the building layout and bedroom number allowed our group have plenty of their own space. The common areas were cozy and big enough for all of us to congregate and share meals together. It was truly a great perk to have the shuttle service and resort spa available to us. The location is convenient to downtown Boyne and Gaylord for quick trips and the house itself was in a picturesque and peaceful area. We would absolutely love coming again and would plan to stay longer so we could take advantage of more activities next time.

Excellent place to stay, beautiful area and home!

This place is a hidden gem, very peaceful and quiet, beautiful area. The house was a perfect size basement area was perfect for the kids, they loved the karaoke machine, building blocks and the bunks were a hit. We also loved the surprise ring hook game by the firepit/grill and the giant janga game in the garage. Aiden was amazing at responding to any questions we had during our stay. Great neighborhood for going on walks.

Tammy was great. The house was awesome! The house was nice and cool despite not having A/C . Tammy had a window A/C upstairs and plenty of fans for the place . we will definitely be back next year!!!

Great for a more people. It was a big hit! True ski in ski out! Would definitely stay there again!

Fantastic location for a cozy cottage with a hot tub

The Chalet provided our family with a peaceful, comfortable, and fun place to gather! The kitchen was well stocked with glasses, mugs, dishes, and cookware. Basic supplies were readily available. The deck, large dining table, and couches provided various places to relax and hangout. The beds were comfy. The guidebook was very helpful for restaurant and outing choices. The pool and hot tub at Lakeview Hotel is the preferred choice. We enjoyed Cellar 1914 and Torch Lake. Kara and Nate were welcoming and responsive via text. This was the most welcoming and thoughtfully furnished Airbnb in which we have stayed. Thank you for sharing The Chalet with us!

My family had to pivot at the last minute when our vacation home sprung a leak in the roof and into the home. We found this home available and had a response immediately from Susan. We actually like this place better than our own! The mid-century modern decor is amazing and cozy.. the home was extremely clean, the bedding was even cozy comfy. The kitchen had all the necessities and wow did we love the sauna especially after going snow tubing! The star of this place for us was the view out the dining room window to the beautiful Hills of Bellaire/Shanty Creek. Thank you Susan, we would definitely look you up again if in need in the future😊

The house was very clean and a cool layout. We loved the sauna, the fireplace and the were able to use the pool table. The house had everything we could have needed. It was the perfect cozy winter weekend getaway. Close by to the highlands if you will be doing activities at that resort. About 40 minute drive to Boyne Mountain. Very pretty and a quiet peaceful area. Would definitely love to stay here in the summer months next time. Would highly recommend for a family!

I stayed here for a long weekend ski trip with my 4 kids and the house was perfect for our stay! Lots of beds for sleeping options and two living areas for plenty of space. Kitchen was well supplied for cooking meals. The location is right next to Nubs Nob and Boyne and close to local restaurants for eating out. Highly recommend and would rent again in the future!

This was a great place to stay! We visited with our 1.5 year old and our golden retriever, and we have no complaints! Our entire stay was very baby and dog friendly! You are walking distance from a beach and kid-friendly park. You are also a quick drive or bike away from down-town shops and more beaches. The location itself has a nice privacy fence, so we felt safe with our toddler and it was more private compared to comparable places nearby. There were dog treats and a dog bowl ready for our doggo as well, which was much appreciated. Would recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful, clean, perfect amount of room, and the beds were very comfortable. Brandon is an excellent host! He’s very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. I would rebook for sure in the future…I hope to visit Traverse City again soon☺️

This was the perfect place for my family of six adults and one dog. We loved having the four kayaks and it was easy to get into the water from the dock. We enjoyed fishing from the dock too. Our dog loved the beach access to the water. We went in the hot tub and soaked up the beautiful view. The kitchen table seats six and was exactly what we needed when we played games. We played a few games of ping pong and foosball in the garage. The outdoor shared pool, pickleball court, playground, and basketball court are only a 5 minute walk away. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioners kept the whole place cool. We loved this home on the lake.

I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway. It was just like the pictures, if not, better! We had 11 people in our group and we absolutely loved every part of the place and the location! There was more than enough sleeping arrangements, kitchen appliances, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The binder full of instructions was very helpful as well. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boat, and play set in backyard! We even met some of the neighbors’ dogs that passed by throughout the day (so if you like dogs, that is a bonus)! The guys all golfed at the nearby golf course and they came back for some billiards and games in the basement! The ladies and I enjoyed everything the place had to offer, especially the hot tub (which also had clear instructions on what to do and how to handle it). It was a chilly and VERY windy Memorial Weekend for us, but it was still loads of fun for my group!! ❤️

This home was exactly what we were hoping it would be: peaceful, quiet, secluded, and absolutely breathtaking views. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The hosts were awesome to work with, responsive and helpful. Looking forward to hopefully returning!

Beautiful scenary and felt like home right on the lake. We went for fathers day weekend and there was so much to do - fishing, kayaking, swimming, smores and private hot tub to relax in! Everything we needed for a weekend getaway. So relaxing and plan to return in the near future. The home was very clean and comfortable. The host had an easy checkout list and directions for things to do around the lake. Love, love love!

Rustic charm Beautiful scenery…. Can’t say enough about that.. Host were so quick to respond to any questions we had! (Very important) Great fishing spots! Neighbor lake has much bigger fish!! Beds super clean and fresh smelling and comfortable! TVs have lots of channels Pool table was added fun! Everything you needed for a family of 10 to enjoy some tranquility and family fun! Just beautiful! All around:) Go to Landing Zone for bowling! Veteran owned! And we went to Mancino’s (it looked vacant but new owners) great pizza and yummy grinders (homemade bread) that offers gluten free pizza and also has garlic knots!! Only 2 regrets, we didn’t book 2 wks & we really did not prepare for Michigan weather. Haha Bring sweatshirts and pants cuz mornings cold and afternoons warm and evenings cold. Can’t wait to go back!

I had an excellent stay! This place is very nice. Close to the downtown area of Traverse City, but yet secluded and private. The place was very clean and made me feel right at home. I would stay here again for sure! Very close to the lake!
