Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Bourdeilles

Very nice quiet house with two large bedrooms. There were a few basic products missing in the kitchen (oil, salt, sugar, etc.). Note that this accommodation is located in an agricultural environment (market gardener), with the possibility of tractors being present.

A big thank you to Sylvette for hosting us and for her discretion. A peaceful place to gather in peace and quiet and enjoy the cottage and private pool! The location is perfect between Perigueux and Bergerac! Thanks again to Sylvette and I would fully recommend the cottage.

We arrived in the evening so it was dark & only stayed the one night. Severine was there to welcome us & made us feel very welcome. We couldn’t fault the gite at all. It was cosy, warm & very inviting. Although it was slightly miserable weather the next morning we could see what an amazing view you would get from the location.

A very welcoming, pleasant and attentive host. Impeccable accommodation with everything you need to have a good stay. I recommend it.

What a wonderful spot to get away! Truly beautiful views and if you like to hear the birds, this a must stay. Very quiet for sleeping. Lots of space for us to spread out in the large kitchen area and the outside covered patio. Conveniently located near Perigueux, 15 minutes to most services. Please note: There are steep stairs to the upper level and you walk through one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom to get to the third bedroom. Second bathroom on upper floor. Worked just fine for our family. Lots of lovely paths for walking. Laura and her family are lovely. Definitely recommend.

We were 7 adults and animals. First of all, I thank Agnès for accepting several animals, it's very rare. Everyone was delighted with this house, clean, well heated (December), the rooms were large, simple and relaxing decoration. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a small stock of pasta and coffee to help out if you have to stay several days and have to go shopping. Spacious living room. Only small downside: the toilet in the hallway does not lock and the toilet seat was moving, it was not very practical. If I had the opportunity to return to the area I would gladly rent this house again.

Everything was perfect. The accommodation is as described, no surprises. Jennifer is a good listener and conciliatory.

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

Great places to discover the region. Lots of activities nearby. Impeccable, warm, and quiet accommodation. The pool and hot tub are a plus. The host is very responsive, welcoming and warm. Everything was explained to us from the arrival with a small recap booklet, restaurants, activities to do in the area. A little corner of paradise, we'll be back! Thank you

We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

Fabulous gite in a gorgeous setting.

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

No complaints. Nathalie is very kind and very responsive. The house is ideal for resting. Located in a quiet area and close to Périgueux and many tourist sites. The sheltered and heated pool on a large terrace is really the highlight of the house. I would highly recommend it.

beautiful peaceful place accompanied by the croaking of frogs and the jumps of carp... a treat... the spa with a sweltering heat a real delight... on the other hand, disappointed not to be able to lock the door, the sofa really not comfortable even if we spent our time outside the chalet, the duvet with a lot of stains...without these small downsides, the stay was idyllic, the region is waiting to be discovered!!! very discreet and welcoming owners

Sophie and Craig were the perfect hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a welcoming (and much appreciated) basket of goodies waiting for us on our arrival and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The gite was just as described and the perfect place to unwind. Lovely views throughout the meadow and surrounding area, the natural pool was a delight. The chickens provided fresh eggs for breakfast and the dogs, Roo and Ted are adorable. We would totally recommend this place and we will definitely return. Kim and Carol

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

Our stay was a lovely dream. The outdoor kitchen and pretty garden with bath was a place you might envisage in a fantasy. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates. Although the weather was unusually hot we were nice and cool within the traditional thick stone walls of the house. It was wonderful to sit in the garden and watch the canoes floating round the bend of the the winding Dordogne river. We are very grateful for the experience. Thank you Steve and Eve. Despite a last-minute reservation, the hosts gave us a warm welcome. Spacious house, nice fenced garden ideal with children. We discovered Brantôme, visited Villars cave and had a pleasant family wkend. Thank you and see you soon maybe 🙂

First of all amazed by the environment and the magnificent view, we were won over by the kindness and enthusiasm of Nicolas and Marlène and their 2 adorable boys The remarkably located house is completely atypical, giving pride of place to the environment, the bedding is impeccable Everything is quiet and tranquil The description is completely confirmed We will definitely be back

Lovely stay at Le Petit Grenier! A lovely little gite with everything you need and a super arrivals food pack to get you going! Great to be given pool towels too. The gite is in a wonderful location and the grounds are beautiful. The pool area is super and so nice to relax next too after a hot day out cycling /canoeing / exploring. Joanne and Martin are great hosts and invited us and other guests to a welcome evening with a charcuterie/cheese board, with many suggestions for places to visit and helpful advice. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again another year.
