The apartment has a near constant breeze coming through from Bottle Creek which is only a few minutes walk away, making it perfect for paddle boarding, kayaking, bonefishing or swimming. A romantic, peaceful, cozy, rustic getaway spot for two. Perfect for those looking for an alternative to the crowded all inclusive resort scene. Bring your fishing pole to fish from the landing at the cottage. Evenings are quiet here so be prepared to create your own entertainment. Star gazing is phenomenal! We explored North and Middle Caicos via car. We were often the only ones on the pristine beaches. There are a few local stores for food and alcohol. Between the two islands, we visited six restaurants enjoying the local fare. Bugs are a thing so spray is needed but not crazy. Howard and Cheryl are very pleasant and accommodating offering suggestions and access to their shut down restaurant for additional space and refrigeration. We would definitely visit again!

Had the best stay in Turks! The beach is absolutely breathtaking—freaking beautiful, but with a lot of stones, so definitely wear crocs for swimming (haha, but still so much fun). The place is even more stunning than the pictures—seriously, it’s worth it. The host was amazing, always checking in to make sure we were okay and going above and beyond to help us with everything, like contacting a driver since we don’t have a license. The place is super clean, fresh, and the view is just perfect. Can’t recommend this spot enough! You won’t regret it istg ☀️🐚❤️❤️❤️

It was just absolutely the most perfect trip for our family. We like quiet, want to experience local culture, a little adventure but want to feel safe, etc. From the moment we booked, John was a wealth of information, helpful, accommodating, available, etc. We flew into Provo and stayed 1 night there. He gave us suggestions, got us in touch with a driver who was so accommodating (even with multiple travel plan changes), suggested grocery/liquor options. We ferried to North, picked up our rental car & headed to the house. The house is very spacious, bathrooms for each bedroom, beautiful view, well stocked kitchen, laundry, kayaks available, etc. My husband fly fished the flats out front each morning. We visited a different, amazing beach daily - not a soul on any of them. Spent a day with Captain D fishing - made many memories. Ate out a few times, cooked the rest. Truly - an amazing vacation. Love the area and would love to come back to John's place & visit North Caicos!
