This is a character room with stunning views. The restaurant attached is well known in the local area for a high standard of food. We enjoyed visiting family and being able to walk back without the need for a taxi.

What an amazing house, dog friendly, too! Perfect location for our family wedding. Frances was most helpful and very accommodating. Will stay again next time we visit family in Holmbridge.

We had a wonderful stay at Hill Too Farm. Susan was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble it seemed. The B&B is extremely comfortable, and the breakfast really good. Most of all Wincle is a very special part of the world, beautiful and wild… and we were pointed to a real gem of a pub, The Ship, for dinner which was a real treat. We will be back!

The room felt like I was in a hotel. Shampoo, Shower Gel ready, teas and coffees and milk. Was a great place to stay at. Pete was super helpful and proactive with communication.

I had a fantastic experience staying with Joe! He is incredibly respectful and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The place was spotless and well-maintained, reflecting their attention to detail. Beautiful location. Own parking area. Clean tidy rooms. Bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which was a god send after all the walks. Selection of cereal in room along with plenty of tea and coffee and a pint of milk in the fridge. Claire and Robbie were great hosts. Gave us a run down of Castleton and where to go. Friendly banter and made us feel very welcome. They were very responsive to anything we asked. Highly recommend this as a place to stay as it is accessible to so many walks including Mam Tor and Castleton has numerous pubs and restaurants to choose in such a small area so there is always somewhere to have refreshment and nourish after a walking day. If you need a place to stay in Marple this is the place. A beautiful house, exceptionally clean and comfortable topped off with the best breakfast I've had in a long time. I can highly recommend this gorgeous guest house and the attentive hosts.

Great hosts! Wonderful breakfast, perfect and thoughtful local recommendations, very welcoming, cute village location close to all Peak District tourist spots. Would certainly stay here again and recommend to others. Multiple pubs, bakery, and village shops right on the doorstep. Safe, cute, and comfortable place to stay for our Peak District mini break.

My only disappointment is that I hadn't found this place sooner. We visit Hebden every year or so and this gas got to be one of our bedt stays yet. Flexible, easy to find, great, modern room and bathroom with lots of great little touches that demonstrates Mark doesn't take shortcuts. We'll definitely be back when we next visit. ps, great breakfast set up, with plenty of staff on hand to assist if needed. No cooked breakfast but plenty to choose from and hot tean and coffee on request 👍

We loved our short break at Hassop Station. The room was lovely, just as pictured. Bed was comfortable and we slept really well. Breakfast was tasty, with good vegetarian options too. We enjoyed walking on the Monsall Trail (which we could join just outside the station) and doing a bit of shopping in nearby Bakewell. Hassop Station Rooms are great for a short break and we'd throughly recommend them.

The Old Vicarage is a lovely house in a nice village. There are many hikes you can do in the area. We enjoyed traveling the Peak District. The room was very clean and breakfast was great. Tricia was very friendly and welcomed us with a big smile. We recommend staying here strongly.

Convenient location to the centre of Manchester. Everything as described in the listing. Whilst I didn’t get to meet Debbie, she was still in touch making sure my check-in through to check-out process was all smooth sailing.

Tres bien équipée avec des prises USB et connexion wifi rapide literie confortable, très propre. la SDB pour la chambre était grande et c était appréciable de pouvoir utiliser la cuisine. jack est très sympathique et très disponible quand on lui demande un renseignement. La maison est au calme à 10 minutes du centre et à 20 minutes de l'ethiad stadium a pieds. Autour à 5 minutes il y a des bars restaurants bakery et supermarché, bref super emplacement ! on reviendra ici pour le prochain match de city !!

Andrew is an excellent host, we arrived early and he was very accommodating with the early check in. The house was perfect for us, few minutes walk to all pubs and restaurants. He gave us some great recommendations for real ale pubs. Brilliant veggie breakfast for me and a full English for the wife. We would recommend to stay there and hopefully we'll be back ☺️. Well i couldn’t recommend staying here enough great hosts who went above and beyond to make you feel welcome, I only really needed my clothes because they had everything you possibly needed and the bed was so comfy I usually struggle to sleep in hotels but had a great nights sleep there and the house in amazing full of character and so homely , if ever I go to Manchester again I will 100% stay there

We’ve just returned home from a perfect 2 night stay at Manx Villa B&B. By far the best place we’ve ever stayed (& we’re well travelled)! Leanda & Nige are the most thoughtful, friendly & welcoming hosts. They really looked after us, from the homemade cake treats in the room & the delicious breakfast each morning, to the helpful local tips & hand-drawn maps. The B&B is sparkling clean & the gardens are beautiful & very well maintained, with stunning views. Everything is exactly like the photos, although I would say the bedrooms are bigger in person. The bed is very comfortable & we slept so well that we just had to ask for the details to replicate at home. Our little cockapoo was also very well catered for & the doggy bath & robes were so handy. We don’t often return to the same place but we’ve definitely Peaked here & we can’t wait for our next visit! :-)

We stayed with Leanda & Nige for our wedding anniversary, the perfect place to escape to for peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings. They were fabulous hosts, easy to talk to and really helpful. Our room was beautifully decorated and super clean with great views. We were fortunate to have amazing weather during our two night stay so were able to make use of the garden and take in the beautiful surroundings. We especially enjoyed sitting on the settee on the decking early evening watching the wildlife with a g&t. We loved having a fuss with their gorgeous girls; their two friendly cockerpoos. We also enjoyed a filling, tasty breakfast each morning. The local pub is literally a 5minute walk down the road and serves good food. We have no hesitation in recommending Leanda and Nige's B&B and hope to have a return visit soon.

The place is just wow! Spotless big room, a modern bathroom and a pristine kitchen. Like a showroom house. Tracy and her husband are frendly and welcoming. One of my best bookings so far. Will come back again for sure.

We really enjoyed our visit to Bakewell. It was very convenient staying right in the heart of town. The room had everything we needed for our one night stay. Parking on site was a bonus. Breakfast was delicious. We will return….
