Welcome to the wooded Exloo, located on the Hondsrug in Drenthe. We live in the monumental train station of Exloo from 1903, on the NOLS railway line, from Zwolle to Delfzijl. This railway was established in 1899 and closed in 1945. This railway line is now a beautiful hiking trail! Next to our house is a completely detached and brand new renovated house of 2 floors with enough privacy and private entrance for up to 6 people. There is free parking space, and a private terrace in complete privacy.

The Nije Bosrand in Gasselte

This vacation home has recently been completely renovated and thus equipped with every comfort. The house has a lovely spacious garden with lots of privacy and parking space. Inside, you can enjoy a warm bath or light the wood stove comfortably. The forest and two natural swimming lakes are less than 10 minutes' walk away, where you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking and swimming. Since the cottage is on a cozy campsite (De Lente van Drenthe), there are many amenities just around the corner.

In a beautiful nature reserve and within walking distance of swimming lakes Gasselterveld/'t Nije Hemelriek, our recently modernized vacation home is located in a quiet bungalow park and offers a lot of privacy with sunny and shady spots. To relax, there is a 3-person massage Jacuzzi under the veranda. The deposit for our house is €250. The area is ideal for peace seekers, hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers. In our beautiful fenced private garden, you will enjoy the many bird species.

Het vakantiehuis is geschikt voor 4 personen, gerealiseerd in sept. 2020 en is van alle gemakken voorzien. Het is gesitueerd aan de rand van het dorp en daardoor een unieke locatie als uitvalsbasis voor veel mooie uitstapjes in het mooie Drenthe. Een paar stappen buiten de deur en je bevindt je in het Valtherbos. Ook voor de hardlopers, wandelaars en fietsers en ATB ers onder ons liggen er mooie routes in de directe omgeving. Op het terrein bevindt zich ook de woning van de eigenaar.

Come and stay in our unique little cottage located in a quiet location in Gasselte on the Hondsrug, Drenthe, bordering the forest, heath and sandy plains of the Drouwenerzand nature reserve. Here you can spend hours hiking, cycling or horseback riding in a wooded area. You are just a stone's throw away from the Drenthe megalithic tombs, the famous swimming lake Nije Hemelriekje, the Adventure Park or the Drouwenerzand Amusement Park. Your horse or dog can come along for a small fee.

Our guest house is located in a beautiful spot on the Hondsrug. Here you are surrounded by nature: ancient woods, sandy paths, rolling fields, squirrels, deer and a wide variety of birds. Within walking distance of the cozy Gieten with delicious fresh bread or a Gieterkoek at the bakery. Here you will find the supermarket and nice restaurants. By bike, you can reach the Drenthe state forests with the beautiful Gasselterveld, Boomkroonpad and centuries-old dolmens.

Welcome to our cozy single-storey vacation home! Located on the grounds of a luxury horse company, this home is perfect for 4 people and offers plenty of space for the whole family. You will enjoy a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy living room, a spacious bedroom with a comfortable double bed, a second bedroom with a bunk bed, a toilet and a modern bathroom. In addition, the house is only 3.5 km from the charming village of Borger with many restaurants!

The apartment is located between monumental thatched farms in old Valthe, a small village on the Hondsrug, Around Valthe, there are forests, fields, heaths, country roads, fens, burial mounds and megalithic tombs. Many cycling and hiking routes run through Valthe that give access to a widespread network through Drenthe and surrounding provinces. 1 child up to 4 years old can stay in the parents' room. On request, a crib/child's bed can be placed.

This studio is suitable for two people from young to old, who especially share our passion for nature and consciously interact with the environment.

Our apartment on the outskirts of Westerwolde near the woods. Emmen, Exloo, Stadskanaal, Sellingen and Bourtange are nearby. I make sure there are recent brochures and information about activities, outings and events from the area!
