Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Boone County

We loved staying at the house. From the gorgeous heart pine floors to the coffee station it was such a pleasant respite. Water pressure great for showers. Convenient half bath downstairs. Internet was perfect. We rode on the Rail explorer. Everyone should do it! Loved the restaurants. We tried barbecue and Mexican. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks Alison. You have done a great job making our stay memorable.

We've stayed in Dee's places a number of times. They are great! Easy to get into, always nice and clean. Very quiet and private. Dee is an excellent host and is super responsive in communication. We highly recommend her places!

We loved this cute little cabin and it had everything we needed! Chelsea & Jana were both very quick to respond to any questions we had. The cabin was very clean & it's in a private location just outside of town. We enjoyed the little snacks they left us plus coffee pods were also provided if needed. The bed was very comfortable, the shower worked great & it was nice to grill a couple of our own meals while we were there. We had a great time on our Rail Explorers ride-highly recommend. We also did some hiking at Ledges State park & enjoyed an Easter Brunch at All Saints Cafe. It was nice to just sit on the back deck & listen to all the birds. We had rain one day but there were plenty of apps on the tv to binge watch a show. Instructions were simple & it was easy to check in with the door code. We had a great stay for our anniversary getaway!

My wife and I drove down from Twin Cities (MN) to ride the high trestle trail. The location of Renee's Airbnb in Madrid was perfect. The weather early April was a bit cooler than expected so we didn't spend as much time on the trail as we would have liked but greatly enjoyed exploring Madrid and surrounding towns. Beautiful country! Renee was a great host and the Airbnb was perfect for our needs. Normally we rent entire property but we found Renee's upstairs Airbnb space very quiet, peaceful and comfortable. Everything was as advertised. We would definitely stay again.

Very cute, rustic place to stay. Met our expectations perfectly. Our kids loved seeing the animals and hearing the rooster in the morning!

Dixie and her son Brock were very responsive to our needs during a difficult time. We greatly appreciate having a safe place to stay while my family was dealing with the loss of a loved one. A good stay despite our circumstances

We had a great time! So clean, inviting and so comfortable! All sheets, pillows and towels provided and even had access to do own laundry and meals. A dream for our family wedding weekend!
