Ski-in/Ski-out holiday rentals in Bonner County

I needed a place to escape and work. This was it. Beautiful surroundings and picture perfect. Host was amazing and helpful. Thank you. Look forward to coming again.

We loved our stay here despite a few glitches. There were no instructions for how to turn the fireplace on and when we reached out, the response we received indicated that the host did not know how specifically to do so, as we were given ambiguous instructions (look for a remote, or a switch…which of course we already had). It did finally go on when we turned up the thermostat. We also awoke on our last morning there, to a leak in the ceiling in front of the fireplace that bubbled the paint out quite a bit and we had to put a bucket under it to catch all the water. I had to wait several hours to hear from the local team, whose response was that nothing could be done until the spring because of all the snowy conditions and to just leave the bucket there. Sadly, I missed a few hours of skiing because of this. But besides that, we had a fabulous time and it was very comfortable. Great ski in/out situation.

The location is fantastic. A short walk to the ski trail. The return trail by the chapel can be tricky depending on conditions but if you are able to, it makes this a very quick walk to ski in/out. Otherwise there's a second trail that is a slightly longer walk. The condo is stocked with everything you'd expect for a stay. Kitchen had all the supplies I needed and there was a shared laundry unit available. It was also clean and tidy. It's a bit of a trek to the main village if you aren't skiing, so plan ahead for what you're eating. The market in the village has some simple grocery items if you forgot something small. The bed area is connected to the main area which is fine for singles, couples, or small families but may lack privacy for a group of 4 adults. The bed was comfy, just may be short for a tall person. There are plenty of hangers to dry out your clothes between outings. Overall, the value to me was great and I would love to come again!

Perfect place for a multiple family Spring break trip. The house is in an unbeatable location and had everything we needed. Each family had their own room and bathroom and then there is plenty of common space to hang out. We hope to be back!

We love staying in Steve and Leslie’s place because it’s quiet and comfortable, great location for Sandpoint activities and for other adventures like Kootenai Falls in Montana, Priest Lake, Clark Fork and Selkirk Loop. Steve and Leslie are fantastic hosts and we’ll keep coming back as long as they’ll keep sharing their historic cabin with us! Great place to stay on Pend Oreille.

Great place to stay… super close to Schweitzer which was a huge plus for our family ski trip… comfy beds, well provisioned kitchens, great places for gathering as a group, clean hot tub. Really enjoyed our stay here! Recommend! The “ski in/ski out” seemed a bit treacherous - so a few of us walked it… but the rest decided to just drive to a nearby parking lot and ski from there. We did see some locals ski the path - so I know it is possible… just a bit more than we were willing to do. :)

Great place to stay - we rented both units in the house for a large family ski trip - and it was great! Plenty of space to gather - and to tuck away when we needed alone time. Comfy beds, well appointed kitchen, clean hot tub, great proximity to Schweitzer. Would recommend! The “ski in/ski out” seemed a bit treacherous - so most of our crew opted to drive to a nearby parking lot and go from there. I did walk the trail one day with my kids, and we were passed by some locals on skis - so I know it is possible… just not something we were up for. :)

Great place, as advertised. We were there late season, so spring skiing so it wasnt exactly ski-in, ski-out, but so close to the base it didn't matter. Kids felt welcome with all the game, puzzle, and books there. Would return.

Just didn't see anything to direct us to the correct stair to take to the unit. A neighbor noticed us looking a little lost and directed us to the correct location. To ski in there is an easier route, over the bridge and first complex on the right, than the signs pointing to the "condo access" which took us on a longer path that dumped us across the street. This is probably splitting hairs, the place is great, would stay again. This is more a tip for future skiers. Highly recommended!

Great view. Convenient to the ski resort. Village was quiet since its off season, but there was still lots to do - horseback riding, mountain biking, lift to the mountain top, etc.

The condo was a perfect place for our family ski vacation. We had everything we needed for preparing meals. We were able to ski to to and from the lifts. The beds were comfortable. The condo was relaxing and quiet.

The place was awesome! It was clean, organized and with everything you need to stay up on the mountain. The coffee maker was a nice touch as well as wifi and 2 flat screens to relax to after shredding the slopes all day. The entire place has a really cool theme and the rack to hang your boards made was so helpful. will stay again, great value!

Scott is a great guy and great host. Very easy-going and responsive. Unit was everything advertised - clean, convenient, but as advertised this unit is quite loud (you can hear neighbors talking; upstairs you can hear walking & bar sounds until 11pm). At 11pm everything gets quiet and peaceful and I had no problem getting a good nights' sleep with earplugs in (the bed is quite comfy). Walking to the slopes is amazing.

Jenn was a perfect host to nice getaway weekend. This is a nice location for the winter and skiing for the family.

Exceeded Expectations! With all the change at Schweitzer right now, this is the perfect location and set-up for the price. We had my two kids, wife, and parents all comfortable. There are two separate units, which I thought would be strange, but it was perfect to keep things social and separate. The view is the best at Selkirk. Location, location, location, makes this a great find. We hope to come back.
