Bonfim 241 Family House

Typical Porto house, built in 1935 by my great-grandfather for my grandmother, who wanted to personalize it so much that she had her initials – IG – inscribed on the facade. I have wonderful memories of this house, and this project gave me the opportunity to bring it back to life. The renovation was a meticulous process where we tried to preserve as much of the original features as possible, keeping the memories alive while adding all the comforts of modern times. I hope you like it!

It is a recently renovated one-bedroom duplex apartment with a terrace overlooking the rooftops of Rua do Bonfim. There is a double bed with a high quality mattress. There are blackouts installed to darken the room for better sleep and protection from the hot sun.
