Take a quiet stroll through Yangdong Village, which changes with the seasons, experience the comfort of a beautifully restored thatched-roof house, and clear your mind while sitting in a courtyard with a great view. The main house has two rooms and an indoor kitchen with an island, so you can cook and enjoy together, or you can have tea or a light drink in the quiet thatched-roof house. There is also a warm guddle room, so you can experience the guddle room as well. The lower floor has one room and an indoor bathroom. The upper and lower units are separate, so you can stay with friends. There is a flat in the yard. A barbecue is also possible if you wish. El Hanok Stay was newly built as a private hanok guesthouse, which was opened in April 2023 after a year of remodeling construction by purchasing a 1975 house in May 2022. We tried to add more modern convenience while adding the style of hanok, and tried to add color by adding European style. It is located in the center of Hwangnidan-gil, and it is located near Hwangnidan-gil restaurants (next to Cheongonchae) and cafes (Olive), right next to the location where you can go to Gyeongju tourist attractions such as Daereungwon (Cheonmachong), Cheomseongdae, Donggung, and Wolji. Jacuzzi in Hanok is available for a fee. It is 30,000 KRW in Korean money when using for a fee.

All bedding is always freshly replaced, and as it was my grandfather’s home, it’s lovingly maintained and kept clean. Unlike a typical Hanok village, this home is in a local Gyeongju neighborhood.
