Bedroom 8 - The Big Creek Lodge

Bedroom 8 is up a flight of stairs in the The Big Creek Lodge on the 350 acre Luna's Trail property. Guests will enjoy beautiful views of Hanging Rock and Pilot Mountain from their private balcony, a sitting area, and a walk in shower. Our restaurant is available Thursday - Sunday. Reservations are recommended but not required for on property guests and can be made by contacting the owners. There are sometimes large, private events downstairs. Please ask ahead if one may affect your visit.

Experience our two room Tin W Suite named for the Tin W Printing and Hardware Store that was located in the building in 1880. This suite has a living room/kitchenette area, private bath with shower and private bedroom. 10 foot ceilings, original, exposed brick and two large, bright windows elevate the space to first class. The Historic Shaffner Inn: Salem Room

Please note this does not have an en suite bathroom. The bathroom is located just down the hall. The Salem room depicts dramatic decor of the English Regency Victorian era. The room is located on the second floor and features a queen-size sleigh bed, desk and comfortable chair beside the impressive red fireplace (non-operational) with original tile and cover from the early 1900s. The private bathroom is just down the hall and includes a tub/shower combination and pedestal sink.

Our Deluxe Eco Cabin is two shipping containers that were renovated into a tiny home. It has a Queen size bed, bathroom with shower, living room with sofa and hotel-style kitchenette with a fridge and microwave. The sliding glass doors allow natural light to flood the space, and you can't get a better view! Sit on the private back deck with a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset behind the Appalachian Mountains. Guests must be able to walk up a small hill to access the cabin.
