For hiking or cycling, you have a perfect starting point from our AirBnb (20 square meters with private bathroom), but it is also great to just wrap up for a weekend. Please note: The nearest bakery where you can have a nice breakfast, as well as shopping, is an 8-minute drive away. Lovingly furnished 1-room apartment that invites you to relax with a small kitchen, bathroom and covered balcony. The apartment is located in a detached annex. Located in a small village in the countryside about 5 km from the nearest main town - ideal for hiking or cycling in the adjacent nature reserve or in the idyllic Siegtal. Nature lovers and hikers/cyclists are in the right place with us. Since the annex is difficult to heat, we do not rent in the winter months.

Close to Obererbach lies the excellent WESTERWALD STEIG and other charming hiking, cycling and motorcycle trails, ideal for day trips. Our village Obererbach belongs to the district Altenkirchen. The Obererbach railway connection (one stop to the centre) is within walking distance of the village. You can reach the nearest shopping facilities in about 3.5 km by car.

Nestled in the historic old town of the town of Hachenburg, you will find the ideal environment for day trips to the Westerwald lake district, a few stages on the Westerwaldsteig or a visit to the Marienstatt Monastery with a brewery and great beer garden.

Private access & private parking available. Every 30 min. S-Bahn connection to Cologne.

DESCRIPTION The apartment is located in an old farmhouse in a quiet village location. Suitable for 1-3 people. Guests can share part of the beautiful garden. A small seating area in front of the apartment offers the possibility for a breakfast in the morning sun. Enjoy nature on hikes through the woods and along the Wied. You can shop in Altenkirchen, about 5 km away, or in Hachenburg with its historic old town.

We offer a small accommodation in an old half-timbered house in the beautiful Westerwald. It's located on the first floor. We almost completely renovated it ourselves with love for detail.
