You will have your own private entrance with key-less entry. To access The Cottage, walk down the drive way, up the stairs to your suite. The Cottage was custom built with luxury in mind. This one-of-a-kind space provides the ultimate beach getaway! Custom doors and lighting, private balcony off your bedroom, black-out curtains, amazing shower with heated tile flooring, new super-comfortable Eastern King bed with luxury memory foam topper, remote controlled A/C and heating unit, bar sink and mini fridge, Nespresso coffee maker, tea kettle, Direct TV, closet, beach chairs and towels, and more. Unrestricted street parking. Local surf board and bike rental around the corner and if traveling with your four-legged friend, check out online sites for in-home doggie care within blocks. Walk to Bird Rock Coffee Roasters in the morning, Wayfarer Bakery and around the corner for amazing sunsets at the ocean. We are available to help with any questions or concerns during your stay. We look forward to having you! The cottage is a 4-minute walk from the ocean that has a lovely park and benches to enjoy the view, the sunrise and sunset, and clean ocean air. Just steps away from some of the best coffee shops, bakery and cuisine in the Bird Rock, LaJolla neighborhood. Enjoy great bars, shops and casual dining. It’s within a very short ride to Wind n'Sea Beach as well as the sand and surf of Pacific Beach and Mission Bay. LaJolla Cove is an 8-minute car ride. Walking is the BEST way to see La Jolla! Explore the neighborhood and its architecture, see the sea lions in the Cove, shop downtown La Jolla or just hang by the beach! If you want to explore more, Uber is the best way to get around! Pacific beach is 5-min away, Mission beach is 8-min away and downtown San Diego is only 15-min away! Access to The Cottage is down the driveway, and up the stairs. What a darling space! If you’re lucky, you’ll see the peaches and lemons ripen on her trees. The en suite was perfect for one -only challenge being the bed if you’re tall (I’m 172cm). The neighborhood is super walkable, lots to do and access by the available bus routes. 10/10 recommend for a solo traveler!

This is this second time we stayed with Jim and Alisson in their Bird Rock Suite. We LOVE this place and cannot say enough great things about it!! Jim and Ali are exceptional hosts that anticipated all of our needs. Their communication is above and beyond as is their flexibility. They notified us as soon as they were ready for us and also made sure we were okay on check out day. Bird Rock is a BEAUTIFUL place to stay. Its close enough to all the fun and adventures that San Diego has to offer but far enough to unwind from the hustle and bustle of the city. This place is perfect! And if you stay here, make sure to visit the Wayfarer Bakery down the road. That is my first stop each and every morning. Jim and Alisson's place is the only Air BnB that we've ever visited twice and it's because they are THAT exceptional. And we are already looking forward to our next trip to San Diego! Aloha & Mahalo Jim & Ali!

Sweet Studio Cottage in PB! Walk to Beach & Park!

It was a great cozy stay. I give it a 10 out of 10. The location is perfect. You are one block away from the beach check-in and check out with simple. They had a lot of beach accessories available for use such as bikes, boogie boards, umbrellas, beach, chairs, beach towels, and even a cart to bring all these things with you. You have your own private parking spot. The host did a daily check-in to make sure your stay was going great. We had such a great time. I will definitely be renting again and will refer anyone. I know that is going out to Mission Beach.

I thought I was the 1st tenant for this Amazing space but #2 is still good. Donte is very friendly and hospitable. He responds quickly and ensured I was taken care of throughout my stay. I actually had an itinerary so I wasn't able to utilize the bicycle he offered as well as the chairs/small, portable fireplace. I will definitely rent from him again so I can take advantage of being able to ride/walk to the beach and local restaurants. Perfect location from the airport. Thanks again, Donte!

My stay at jills place was one of my best experiences with Airbnb. she was extremely helpful and responsive and the energy of the house was peaceful, calm and refreshing. jill has taken great pains and care to make sure that all possible facilities are there to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable.
