A peaceful place to relax after exploring the beautiful Bay of Fires area, swimming, surfing, walking or mountain biking on nearby tracks. The Shack on the Hill has beautiful views across forest reserves. Keep an eye out for the amazing birdlife including parrots, cockatoos, robins, blue wrens and Sea Eagles cruising past. Hexagon Beach House is situated in Binalong Bay overlooking the amazing Bay of Fires. It is an updated architecturally interesting design Tasmanian beach shack. The updates have kept the character of the property, yet given guests the benefits of having a modern ensuite bathroom to one of the queen bedrooms. The other queen bedroom can have a door closed to make the second bathroom basically an ensuite as well. However this bathroom services the two single beds also.

A lovely iconic holiday house for family or friends to be able to relax in and enjoy a true Tassie holiday. Three bedrooms, cosy woodfire, brand new quality leather lounge, and even a games room and gym on the lower level. Reverse cycle air conditioning in the living area. Nice deck to sit and watch the boats and the odd whale go by.

Huge lounge and dining area for relaxing. Lovely views of Georges Bay through the front windows. Quirky backyard with pizza oven and BBQ area that would be great for teens and kids. HUGE bathroom. The kitchen has everything we needed. The traffic noise was one negative but was soon forgotten. The coastal walking track is just across the road and you can walk for miles either way. Would recommend to family and friends.

Joe’s place was everything it said in the description and more. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, homely and inviting. The wood heater was fantastic and kept the house warm day and night. The kitchen had literally everything you could want and the bathroom was lovely! The water was only 25m from the door, bird life and we even had an Aurora! We will come and stay again for sure.

The house was perfect for a lovely relaxing week away with a young family. The fully fenced backyard overlooking the reserve was a perfect backdrop to enjoy the peace and quiet of Scamander. We walked to the river each day, played on the large open space outside the back fence. The fireplace was a nice change of pace. Thanks for having us
