Guesthouse holiday rentals in Billund Municipality

We had a lovely stay at this peaceful countryside home hosted by Jettemaija. It was our first stay in an Airbnb, so we weren’t sure what to expect, but everything went smoothly. Jettemaija’s English was excellent, which helped as we don’t speak Danish. The flat was spotless, quiet, and family-friendly—perfect for our 3- and 5-year-olds, with toys, games, a child’s chair, and toddler toilet seat. We loved waking up to birdsong and we went for an evening walk around the lake, to see the neighbours goats. The location was easy to find and great for visiting LEGO House and Vejen parkrun. Unfortunately we had our flights cancelled to Billund so we flew to Copenhagen and hired a car. The beds were comfy, the cookies on arrival were tasty and the kitchen, though basic, met our needs. Photos didn’t clearly show the bed layout, but it turned out perfect. Plenty of parking too. Highly recommend and would happily stay again. (Sorry we forgot the cheese in the fridge).

Dejligt gæstehus i et skønt og interessant kvarter på kanten af skov. Både Mette og hendes mand var meget søde og imødekommende. Vi følte os som hjemme og var glade for den dejlige terrasse med adgang til haven, hvor vores søn kunne kravle rundt. Vi vil booke igen. Tak Mette 😊

Mein Kollege wurde herzlich empfangen und hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Kontakt mit Herbert war unkompliziert und er hat immer schnell reagiert und war stets freundlich. Wir würden die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

What a beautiful stay on this renovated farm and stable from the early 1900’s. Very peaceful and serine with breathtaking sunsets. The whole family enjoyed the hammock swing indoors as well as the cats and duck on the property. Michael was an extremely gracious host and made us feel like family right from the start. We even got a private tour on his Morgan around the neighborhood.

It's a lovely, quiet place to stay for a long weekend when visiting Legoland or Lalandia, as we did. The hosts are very friendly and responsive. We had a beautiful green view from the living room and the air was great. There is a kitchen where you can cook if you want to, and there are all the necessary utensils. There is a grocery store about 1km from the house. There is private parking near the house. The place was nice and clean. When checking out, guests need to clean the place for the next visitor; all necessary cleaning equipment is provided. We are thankful for hosting us.

Tak til Lone og at leje sit lille annex ud. Lone er meget venlig og hjælpsom og boligen har de ting man skal bruge. Perfekt beliggenhed til Bestseller der ligger bare er en lille gåtur gennem skoven.

Wir waren zwei Nächte bei Sanne und Lars zu Gast. Leider nur zwei Nächte, muss man sagen, denn die beiden sind exzellente Gastgeber, und die Unterkunft bietet alles für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Die Kommunikation lief von Beginn an erstklassig. Im Kühlschrank warteten Begrüßungsdrinks auf uns. Die Wohnung ist picobello in Schuss, hyggelig hergerichtet, bietet ausreichend Platz und ist bis auf einen Geschirrspüler tipptopp ausgestattet, gerade auch für Familien. Es gab sogar ein Malbuch, Stifte und Kinderbücher. Zum Legoland nach Billund sind es nur ca. 20 Minuten Autofahrt, und im Umland kann man auch so prima Tagestouren unternehmen. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können die Unterkunft von Sanne und Lars wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

We loved staying here, so peaceful. We loved the setting amongst the trees. The local hikes are great but we also really enjoyed spending time in the garden and pool. The accommodation has pretty much everything you need and was a perfect place to stay.

Nem ind- og udtjekning. Meget pænt og rent værelse til en rigtig fair pris. Kan varmt anbefales.

Dejligt ophold hos Maria og Karsten. De var meget fleksible, hjælpsomme og imødekomne. Svarede hurtigt på beskeder og vi blev taget rigtig godt imod. Boligen var pæn, ren og ordentlig. Sengene stod klar med rent sengetøj, lidt kolde drikkevarer i køleskabet og der manglede ikke noget. Vi var godt tilfredse med vores ophold.

Ikke behov for en masse kommunikation. Alt var godt beskrevet og der lå endda en lille vejledning til os ift vildmarksbadet og hvor vi kunne købe brænde til en god pris. Fint sted og smukke omgivelser.

Dear Bonnie and Ben, Thanks for the wonderful holiday we had with you! Words can't describe how much we enjoyed our stay! We loved the house en our dog Apollo wouldn't have left the garden if we hadn't asked him to come back home with us. We couldn't have asked for a better place to discover Denmark for the first time! Each morning we got the most delicious breakfast we ever had. Thank you for being such a kind and warm hosts! We will defenitly recommend this to our friends and family! Vi hade det jättebra i huset! Jättevackert runt omkring och allt fungerade toppen!

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad op deze toplocatie. Ver van alles, heel groen en stil bij zeer gastvrije en vriendelijke mensen. De sfeer is ontspannen, er is heel veel ruimte en we aten groente uit de moestuin!

Vi ble tatt vennlig imot når vi kom og har hatt noen fine dager i huset til Erik Dyg. Nydelig lite hus beliggende i en oase av en hage. Virkelig å anbefale! Vi kommer gjerne igjen

Småt, men der var alt jeg trengte. Rent og utrolig hyggelig innredet. Deilig med en lille "privat" græsplæne. Jeg kommer gjerne igjen.

Fin og romslig leilighet med kort avstand til sentrum. Morten var utrolig hjelpsom med lokale anbefalinger, vennlig og kjapp i dialog. Vil absolutt anbefales😊

Vi havde et meget behageligt ophold i det lille fine hus. Der var to store værelser, og der var rent og pænt. Perfekt overnatningssted og meget tæt på indkøb. Meget venligt værtspar. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen.

I had the fortune to stay at the accommodation while the other room wasn't booked, meaning i had the entire building to myself. The building is huge and has everything you need. The private area's are just fine as well and the location is amazing. In the middle of nature and away from the busy everyday life. The backgarden with its own lake is worth a visit on itself. The hosts are very kind and social and respond very quickly if you need anything. I would definatelly recommend this place!
