Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Big Bass Lake

Stayed at Aleksey's and Julia's place for a three-day weekend with the family. Aleksey is super responsive and provides clear and detailed information and instructions. Check-in was smooth and we had no problem finding or getting to the house, which is nestled inside a gated community. The place was spotless when we arrived, and had all the amenities we were looking for. Plenty of sleeping space (four bedrooms, including bunk beds in two of the room), and the beds were very comfortable. Heated floors in the kitchen/bathrooms was was great, and the basement sauna was a very nice touch. My kids loved the game room in the basement, and really enjoyed playing in the backyard by the river. There are a lot of families with young kids out and about, going for walks, and the people in the community were friendly. We actually spent most of our time within the community itself, as there were plenty of low-key activities on the community grounds. Highly recommend this place, will def. be back.

We stayed at Oak View during the first week of June 2025 and had a truly wonderful experience. The home is beautifully designed and thoughtfully appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was attentive and responsive without being intrusive. We spent most days relaxing on the deck, enjoying the peaceful surroundings—and even sneaking in a few naps. It was the perfect escape for a restful weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

My girlfriend and I stayed in Jonathan’s home for our Valentine’s Day weekend. The house was beautiful and the views were amazing. Jonathan checked in on us to see if we had everything we needed and recommend local restaurants and places to visit he even gave us the time we should wake up to enjoy the sunrise which we did. All in all the trip was a 10/10 and we can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay at Patrick’s home! I stayed with my family, including six small children, and the house was perfectly accommodating for all of us. One of the highlights was the closet stocked with board games and toys—it kept the kids entertained and made us feel right at home. The only downside, which doesn’t reflect on the host at all, was that we weren’t aware it was the "off season" in the community. I purchased a weekly pass for the amenities, but unfortunately, many were closed during our stay. I wish the community staff had provided clearer communication about that, but again, this had nothing to do with Patrick or the quality of the home. Overall, I highly recommend Patrick’s place and hope to return during peak season to enjoy everything the community has to offer!

Such a perfect getaway spot. The house was super clean and felt like home. We took advantage of the fire pit and the grill, the hot tub was a great addition! Definitely will be coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was clean, spacious, very warm despite the cold, and had a terrific pool table and air hockey table. Our family relaxed and spent good time together.

We just needed a place to stay on our way home, and so I chose this little place because it was cheaper than the big brand hotels and allowed our dog. So glad we did! Comfy beds and furniture, and honestly, the pictures do not do this home justice! The parking was a little confusing, but easily accessible once we figured that out. It was a little warm upon arrival but the window units quickly made it comfortable and the overhead chandeliers doubled as ceiling fans and that helped. We walked our dog in the neighborhood and felt completely comfortable. Also, a huge bonus, we tried the little coffee shop literally across the street -- Mansour's Market -- and loved it. Our waitress was friendly and attentive; their baked goods looked amazing; and our breakfast was delicious. I had the breakfast sandwich on a hard roll with Cooper cheese and bacon and am still thinking about it. Don't hesitate to stay here. Cute place!

This place was very comfortable and felt just like home. So many nice little perks. She had the coffee set up already. Had a few snacks. The beds and linens were all very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. Always respond very quickly.

Steven was an outstanding host! Communication was quick and clear from the beginning, and he made sure everything was set up for a smooth check-in. Absolutely loved this place. I stayed for 6 months. Very secure area and quiet neighborhood. Private off street parking with a camera. Host was very attentive to any issues. Would definitely stay again if I come back to the area. Thanks again Bernard. 5 stars all the way!

The apartment was nicely appointed, spacious and comfortable. We stopped there for about 12 hours, so we didn’t get to visit the cafe or gift shop. But we were very happy with the location and the apartment. So close to 81 and we were on our way to Maine with 2 cars and a cat! It is so nice to use Airbnb for traveling with pets;-).

This was an absolute dream of a property. They have thought of absolutely everything to make you not have to leave to enjoy your time. There were endless amounts of things for our kids and family to do in the home and on the property’s lake front. This truly felt like a peaceful relaxing vacation which is just what we needed. We would have driven double the distance (already almost 3 hours away from us) because we loved being there so much. We cannot wait to come back now that we’ve found a little peace of heaven here. What a great stay for my bachelorette party!! Even though it rained all weekend this house was still endlessly entertaining with everything in the basement and the pool and hot tub - Irene’s was the perfect getaway!!! Irene was also very kind and responded in a very timely manner, making the stay easy as well as fun!

Our group had an amazing time here. Kevin was very responsive and helpful and had great recommendations for hiking and kayaking. It is a beautiful home with plenty of amenities and things to do.

We would return without a second thought. Before we arrived, the host was very quick to respond to our questions. Friendly communication from deposit to check out. 4 couples celebrating milestone birthdays. The house was very clean and easy to access. The first things we noticed were the updates to the house. The dining table was large and comfortable for 8 adults. The living room had a large sectional sofa perfect for gathering. Each bedroom had also been updated. Tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and nice linens. We were impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the game room and movie theater! 6 large recliners and comfy floor seating made us feel like we had a night out, without going out. The backyard had a large fire ring and new chairs, but we did not take advantage of them. We did use the large propane grill and hot tub, both were in excellent condition. The kitchen was well appointed and the large fridge was great as we ate in for all meals.

My group of 12 has an amazing weekend here. The house was clean, was easy to find and the host rads is very quick to respond and helpful. The hot tub was great and there were many great hikes within ten minutes from the house. We had a great time!

Great place for a large group!

This place was beautiful! Soooo many amenities, space, and had everything we needed plus more! Everything was so clean and labeled with clear instructions. The Hot tub, movie room, and blackstone grill with the outdoor fire place made for great bonding and relaxation for our group. Every part of the house had great details. The Sonos speaker and led lights created the perfect vibe! Craig was very helpful and accommodating! I have been recommending this place to other friends and family already! Will be posting a full review on TikTok. I loved this Airbnb and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for everything Craig!

It was so beautiful place, me and my family had ever been. House was supper cleaned, there were all needed things for adults and kids. We all have very good time. Host Andy was very communicative and friendly. We felt we were in our family❤️🥰 we hope if we have a chance will came back here again!
