Tugela River Lodge is a pet friendly, self-catering Eco-Lodge, located on a private cattle and game farm on the banks of the Tugela River, near Winterton, KZN, South Africa. We run off solar and gas and invite guest to come and enjoy the quiet side of nature. Our lodge has access to many miles of trails for hiking, biking and running through our private game farm where one can get up close and personal with our resident giraffe. This is a unique, comfortable, fully kitted, self-catering house sleeping 8/10 people. Hidden in a quiet corner of our working farm it overlooks a pristine section of the Wilge River, with the famous waterfall and Nelson's Kop mountain providing spectacular scenery. Guests will be able to enjoy absolute peace, uninterrupted views and walks in almost every direction. Please note that the property is remote and the last 200m of the access road will require a high clearance vehicle.

Safe and convenient for single female travelers with manager living next door. No charge for children/elderly parent sleeping on lounge bed if accompanied by both parents.

Dahlia House - Tevreden Cheese Farm - Bergville

Dahlia House is situated on Tevreden Cheese Farm 15km from Bergville, KZN. This charming, rustic, self-catering cottage offers a tranquil and peaceful experience. We are off the grid and make use of solar panels and gas geysers. It can comfortably accommodate 4 guests. It has an open-plan lounge and dining area with a small but fully equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms. . The covered verandah has a built-in braai & seating area.
