I honestly would give this place a higher rating if it was available. Best way to describe it is a green mini haven. Super easy to find. Very walkable to the beach. Private and spacious. The neighbors are super kind and welcoming as well! The staff is beyond welcoming and the caregiving and response is insane. I’m pretty sure Mr. Ibrahim had his phone glued to his hand because his response time is wild lol. Hands down the best rented space I’ve been in and it easily made me fall in love with Cotonou even more! I would recommend 100% the pictures and description don’t even do it justice it’s even better in person!

Jujute is an exemplary host: caring, affable, resourceful and joyful. When I was having no success figuring out how to get to Foret d'Agoua, she happily provided directions. She goes above and beyond to ensure that your visit is the best it can be. She will graciously greet you and send you off. The accommodations are spacious, and comfortable with excellent amenities. The neighborhood is upscale, safe and quiet. I highly recommend this place!

Very good stay at Villa Sonnenblum . It is very well located, not far from major roads (but enough not to hear traffic!) and several restaurants in Grand Popo that can be reached on foot. The surrounding area is very quiet and relaxing, you can hear a little waves in the distance. The check-in went very well, everything was very clear. Thanks to Willy who was very available during our stay. The pool is a real plus, slightly shaded. Finally, the house is decorated with great taste, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We will come back without hesitation!

Daren's apartment is perfect. It has everything you need. It was extremely clean. Daren and the housekeepers are super nice and helpful. The private pool is a real highlight. The beach is a short walk. It is also a very safe residential area. Thank you Daren!

I unfortunately didn’t stay with Koffi, however I would have definitely stayed, their place looks great. I was hoping for WiFi, which isn’t that accessible in that particular area, as could probably be quite expensive if you are not a Hotel. I would have much preferred to stay in a family based establishment such as Koffi’s😌 I wanted to comment on the friendly and helpful communication that was exchanged, as I had booked mistakenly and was requesting a refund, which they were very happy to do. It was an error on my part. My final communication once the refund had been returned was from Koffi, to say if I wanted or planned to do a long term stay for a month, he would have been happy to provide this for me. It’s amazing in Gand Popo and if staying for longer, I would have taken up the offer! Thank you Koffi!

Beautiful accommodation with a huge pool

To close our trip to Benin, we stayed at the Sahoty residence. We were delighted as soon as we arrived! The welcome is warm, and the team is very attentive to our needs. The host, available via message, is both responsive and kind. We took full advantage of this place, whether it's to relax by the pool or enjoy the time spent at the beach. If I come back to Benin, that's for sure: I'll go back without hesitation.

Andrée and Mouba were hosts par excellence. We were three doctors who traveled to Benin by bus from Ghana for a Conference at La Palais de la Gratitude, Abomey-Calavi. We contacted on arrival to the area and they came to our rescue!! That same night we had a swim!! It was better than home away from home. The home is exquisite. The two guys had a room each and shared the bathroom which was situated between both rooms. The third room was also ensuite. The only thing they didn't have was hot water for the shower, which was no big deal once one of us got used to it!. We had breakfast served by Andrée to the sound of beautiful french music. The house is in a plush residential area, two streets away from paved roads. As it was rainy season some mornings we hitched a ride to the conference Hall with Mouba, but we happily walked back exploring the friendly neighbourhood. We also loved the tours around Cotonou with Mouba as our guide. We learned a lot of gardening tips from Andrée. Sincerely, we did not want to leave. Strongly recommended

This place was the best possible for me. Koffi M. was very frienly and helpful with his staff. I enjoyed the moments when we dicussed the ways of human life. In the lokal hot klimate the swimming pool was super. And wind from the ocean was wonderful on the second floor. I hope I can come again to this friendly spirited house.

I would recommend Iyagbe a 1000 times. It’s spacious, cosy, knit, the service is like a hotel cleaning lady, and a guardian for outdoor maintenance. Not to mention the wonderful Pool very handy when the weather is above 30C.
