Cheia village is located in the heart of the Apuseni Mountains of Transylvania, right next to the beautiful Râmeț Gorges (Cheile Râmețului) and three other scenic gorges. We are surrounded by forests, majestic mountains, and wild landscapes. The guesthouse is a renovated, original thatched house from the 19th century. Our place is remote and can be reached on foot via a marked trail or by 4x4 in dry weather, with proper tires. We can also arrange transport by car from Brădeşti to our location.

For the rainy and cold days there is also a fireplace to keep you warm and cozy and a bunch of board games to choose from. Since we love pets, they are welcome as well !

On a wonderfull spot in a valley in the south of the Apuseni-mountains, you'll see this amazing 35 m2 yurt with a stunning view. Get closer to nature while still enjoying modern luxury. You'll have your own bathroom with outdoor shower and composting toilet. When it freezes, you can use the shower of our campsite. Go for a hike on one of the endless trails and build yourself a campfire in the evening, enjoy the sound of nature and come to peace!

Bat´s Cave Hut Transylvania - Hot-Tub & Sauna

Deep in the Western Carpathians, surrounded by breathtaking nature, spectacular views and mystical wilderness, sits "Bat's Cave Hut" - in Apuseni Natural Park. In the immediate vicinity of the largest bat cave in Europe, right on the river, you can enjoy great evenings around the campfire, in the hot tub or in the sauna.
