Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bela-Bela Local Municipality

What a beautiful home, it was more than what we expected - and we had a lovely, peaceful weekend. We needed a break from our normal city life and being right within nature, was exactly what we needed. Tanya and Esther were so friendly and helpful, we appreciate the service they gave us. Cherry on top was seeing quite a few animals walk very close to the home 🥰🥰🥰 I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who loves nature and looking to have a peaceful stay. Thank you to the host for putting so much effort into the home.

We had a fantastic time in the most beautiful place - the views are amazing! The lodge is very spacious and easily accommodated our group of 8 with room for 2 more. I would highly recommend this property if you arfe looking for a relaxing time away from the city.

The Farmhouse was a wonderful long weekend getaway for our group of 5 ladies ( varying ages - from 84 to 6 :) ). We loved the private home environment and will definitely recommend the property. Our highlights were the game drive, the 3 wheel scooter experience, all the activities provided for in and around the house ( volleyball, swingball, bean bag game, swimming pool, board games, etc. ) - we tried them all. Making smores on an open fire was of course a highlight for my 6 year old daughter! Everyone involved in making our stay memorable ( Emma, Cherime, Jandre, Rosina, Johannes, Geelbooi ) were really great! A shout out to all of you, you were all very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable about their environment and the reserve itself, and always willing to assist. We really enjoyed our stay and are already planning our next visit.

A 4,5 overall rating for John and his team. The house is beautiful, clean and tranquil. I appreciate the setup of the bedrooms, kitchen and living area. There is more than enough utilities, cutlery and necessary equipment for a long, comfortable and wholistic stay. The continual availability of a helper was especially great. One thing I disapprove of was the insistent reminders from the Helper and John to thank the helper at the end of our stay with some money on the side. While it goes without say that we will appreciate the helper, it is not necessary to continually remind us. John's communication was exceptional and proactive. We were well informed on all important information before and during our stay. I would recommend 'A Beautiful Place' to any group of friends or family looking to 'Getaway' in a tranquil environment.

The house was stunning—beautifully decorated with African wildlife-inspired touches that brought the spirit of the savannah indoors. Every detail, from the artwork to the furnishings, reflected the natural beauty surrounding us. A perfect blend of comfort and nature—I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape with a unique, authentic atmosphere.

Loved Nicky's place. We had a wonderful weekend in the bush, exactly what we needed. The house was perfect for all our friends and family. The house was clean upon arrival and we had a cleaning lady everyday. It was also perfect with a toddler as most of the rooms were on ground level and he could run around everywhere. Would definitely recommend Nicky's place.

Awesome stay! would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay with a group of people. Ideal for a golf tour. Great staff and great accommodation will defiantly be going back.

Patrick & I stayed from 8-11Aug24. Thank you Riana for a beautiful getaway. From your friendly front desk lady to Pierre and his wife. We felt at home. The accommodation was spacious and had all the utensils and cleaning stuff we needed. We loved the scenery and the awesome sunsets. What stood out for us was the tour. Very informative and a passionate and knowledgeable guide. We could feel it in our veins. This is a place that is highly recommended if you need some me time and to experience all the cats and their habitat. Looking forward to be back again.

Perfect stay for 2 in Mabalingwe. Very comfortable, all you need. Excellent communication from host and great value for money.

Beautiful place to stay. Private and peaceful. Amazing to watch the animals whilst having your morning coffee. Didn’t use the fire pit but I’m sure it would make for a wonderful evening sipping wine and watching the sunset.
