Holiday rentals with a kayak in Beaufort County

We had a wonderful stay. The host was outstanding! Excellent communication and cleanliness of home was great. Highly recommend staying here if fishing is your thing. would definitely stay here in the future.

We really enjoyed our time at the Shell house. Both apartments are equipped with high end fixtures and appliances, and the cabinets were thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need during our stay. What’s more, Jeanne and Tony went out of their way to make our time in Belhaven comfortable and enjoyable.

We enjoyed our stay at the Pipshak so much! The water views were amazing and the water toys were so fun for our family! We all enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying watching the water, seeing the crabs, and we even saw dolphins! There were more jellyfish in the water than I expected, but that means the river is healthy despite the rising temperatures. The house is very well equipped, with all the kitchen tools you could want. The living room was great for the kids to spread out, and we could look at the River. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The neighborhood is really adorable. Friendly neighbors and nice to walk or ride the bikes in the garage. We are already talking about coming back in cooler weather!

Blue heaven was a lovely place. My family of two children and My grandmother-in-law and my wife enjoyed a 5-day vacation down by the river. The kids enjoyed kayaking, and another fun water activities. The home is cute and quirky. there's plenty to do with lawn games and a safe place to swim. Our hosts are lovely, responsive, and accommodating.

Beautiful haven to get away from it all! Peaceful & quiet. We enjoyed many hours of peaceful fishing off the pier. We caught lots of flounder, crabs, red drum & croakers! I highly recommend for a get away from it all trip!

We had 9 adults in town for my son's graduation from ECU and our stay could not have been better. Comfortable and fun...it was perfect!

My wife and I are kayaking-sailing the ICW and it has been a challenge to find good accommodation to wait out storms. This was one of our best stays yet for so many reasons. First, the sea wall is just a few inches below the turf, so we easily landed and found the place quickly. Even though Tony and Jeanne were on vacation, they wrote back to us immediately, answering all of our questions. Plus, we thought it was cool what they were doing on their own travels. The apartment was perfect for us, it had everything we needed and was very comfortable with a nice view of the… gloomy weather that we were avoiding! I’m so grateful that this place was available, as it was a real winner.

Dreamy cottage with an absolutely beautiful view. All you need to do is pack your clothes and you'll be all set! The cottage has everything you need for an amazing get away. Everything is so quaint and cozy. All the essentials are completely stocked. We hope to go back when its warmer and stay longer than the weekend! Once you're there, you're not going to want to leave. The screened in porch is amazing and the living room has such a beautiful view. The weather happened to be super windy and cold when we were there but the view of the water did not disappoint.

Peaceful location, fun pirate theme, plenty of toys, games and books for kids, very clean, would definitely stay again if we are in the area!

I’ve stayed in New Bern for my previous assignments at Nutrien Aurora, enduring an hour-long commute to the plant each way—what a mistake! This time, I discovered this incredible property just 6 minutes from Nutrien, and it’s a game-changer. Not only is it the closest lodging to the plant, but it also boasts a stunning dock where dolphins swim right up to you every evening—a magical experience! Jacqueline, the host, was fantastic, going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and welcoming. As someone who travels 250 days a year for work, I can confidently say this is the best work lodging I’ve ever stayed in. I’m already planning to bring my family back for a relaxing getaway filled with fishing and unforgettable moments. 10/10—highly recommend!
