Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Bayou Teche

I have been working in Baton Rouge for several month. This home and Host are the best out of the entire BR area.

Kellie is a fabulous host. She has thought of everything in the way she has equipped the house, and is very responsive to our questions. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this location to others visiting Bston Rouge.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Fat Cat. The water views are expansive. Lots of different seating areas to spread out both inside and out. The kayaks, life vests, and the floating pad were great to have, and the kids loved using them and floating in the water. We did not have much success fishing.. but that's how fishing goes. The beds were all very comfortable, the linens clean, and lots of pillow options.

The inside of the home was exactly like the pictures posted Good location it was easy and quick to get to everything The home was clean and everything was easy to find and when i did need help the host answered quickly was very helpful Would definitely stay here again and plan on staying at some of their other homes in the area

Kristen was very communicative and proactive. House was elder though well maintained and comfortabe. Well provisioned, esp for entertainment. Along with the pinball/foosball/pacman numerous board games provided. Found the pouch swings enjoyable.

Beau was an amazing host and the property was beautiful and private. We told him what we were doing in town and had a care package tailored to our trip waiting for us!

We stayed here while attending the Open Championship (bowling) event at the Raising Canes center. It was about a 15 min drive, which was perfect. The house was in great condition. We all laughed that it still smelled new! Beds were comfy! Trent was very responsive but gave us space during our stay, unless we needed something. Would stay here again!

This home was exactly what we needed. I loved the wooden blinds, high ceilings, and spacious master suite. We felt at home. Thank you for having us!

When we arrived we were all impressed with the neighborhood. Getting to the house was easy. Instructions were very clear on how to gwt in the house and the bedrooms. The house was absolutely beautiful and clean. The pool was wonderful also. I messaged the owner a couple times and the response was quick and respectful. You can tell he takes care of his house and those who stay in it. We all said if we come back in the area we would love to stay at this location again.

Super cool space and lovely hosts. We enjoyed the pool and the yard for our dogs for the weekend. Highly recommend!

Amazing listing in Baton Rouge. My family and I came in town for a graduation and this home was beautiful. Everyone enjoyed everything about the home. Plenty of space for a large family to move around effortlessly! We will definitely be staying here again for future trips to the area. Highly recommend!

Great place pictures matched the house no surprises and very clean. Would stay again if I was in the area.

The house is beautiful and very accommodating. The kitchen is fully stocked and we wish we would have had more time to use it. The covered porch and lounge area by the pool was very relaxing after a long day. There were lots of floats and toys for the pool. Our three kiddos loved the house as much as we did. Will definitely be renting from Paul again who responded very quickly and kept in touch throughout our stay. 10/10 highly recommend renting this place!!

The Cajun Getaway is southern comfort at its finest. It was like home away from home for us. We love everything about it and it’s on our list of places to revisit. Centrally located to all the best places to visit and dine in SW Louisiana. The hosts made us feel very welcome and were respectful of our privacy. 10 out of 10.

Great place to stay for us and our big dog. Did a lot of walking and exploring, looking for wildlife. did a lot of birding - it was awesome. there's a marsh behind the house and a bayou across the road in front. saw some gators and beavers paddling around. we also visited the state park just down the road. nice boardwalk and of course more birding and beavers. Did not get to see black bears. Maybe next time. Had everything we needed. got to watch a storm roll in over the bay. Really enjoyed our stay. Will happily return and highly recommend.

This house was the perfect spot for our anniversary getaway. The location is peaceful and beautiful. It is centrally located to many fantastic Cajun restaurants, which is one of the main reasons we like to visit this area. Melissa was great with communication and it was a treat to discover her fresh baked Blueberry Muffins waiting for us. The house was lovely and immaculate. Thanks, Melissa!

This was a great place, with tons of space and super close to LSU. Check in and out was a breeze! 10/10 recommend!!

If you are bougie, this might not be the place for you, but if you like quiet country living …. This is it. This place was perfect for us. Ms . Jennifer was great. She even brought us a fresh loaf of sourdough bread with all the fixings the morning of our departure.

We had a lovely time spending our weekend getaway at Magnolia Moon cottage! Genny and Ford were wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home on their beautiful property. We loved how tucked away their cottage is from the main road and enjoyed the easily accessible creek. The eggs and biscuits left for us in the fridge were a great addition to our mornings, as well as their screened-in porch that allowed us to listen to the birds in the AM and watch the fireflies in the PM. The inside of the cottage was very clean, cozy, and had everything that you would need for a weekend visit. The bed was also super comfortable and made it difficult to get up in the morning. We look forward to staying here again one day and highly recommend anyone else to stay a night in this serene Airbnb!

The property was exactly as described. It was very private, clean, spacious and on a really nice piece of property. It was peaceful yet not too far off the beaten path. Gus was a great online host whose communication was clear, prompt and spot on. The value of the fees and charges were in line with expectations and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. We would definitely recommend this property to others and it deserves a 5/5 star rating.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay! The cottage was exactly as pictured, and it was a short walk to several restaurants. The hosts were very easy to work with and quick to respond to questions. The check-in snacks and beverages were a nice touch. We ended up not traveling with our dog as planned, but the set up would have been ideal. Highly recommend!

Sandy's place was very clean and comfortable. I appreciate that it is dog friendly and the backyard was great for having pups!
