An Taigh Fiodh is set in an elevated position in Baymore on the Island of Grimsay which is located between North Uist and Benbecula. It has spectacular uninterrupted views overlooking the bay and iconic Eaval Hill. Less than half a mile walk away is the bustling fishing harbour at Kallin where you will also find a seafood café serving delicious crab, lobster and scallop freshly caught by the local fishing boats.A short distance further along the road there is a seafood shop, a community café.

Situated in a beautiful shoreside location on the Island of Grimsay, with spectacular views from all rooms, a quiet and comfortable base from which to explore the Uists. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 on the first floor and a twin room on the ground floor. The well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven/hob/grill, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, food processor. The utility room has a washer/dryer. The upstairs bathroom has a bath and separate shower cubicle. There is also a toilet downstairs.

Otternish Pods, North Uist

Otternish Pods on North Uist are situated on a working croft and are ideally located for exploring the islands. 1 mile from Berneray ferry terminal and 10 miles from Lochmaddy. Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. It is ideal for 2,If there are 4 adults you may feel it rather small. Bedding and towels are provided. Underfloor heating, TV and WiFi all add to a warm comfortable stay.

Newly installed in 2021, the Cabin (often called a Storm Pod) is a self-contained luxury haven. Perched beside a small fresh-water loch and overlooking Loch Boisdale. It has a ¾ double bed, single bed and a fold-down bunk. Cooking facilities and a separate shower with WC. Outside there's a fenced courtyard with great Hebridean views for your enjoyment. Although there is sleeping for 4 available, the accommodation is more suited to couples or single occupancy.
