Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bay of Cádiz

We finished a 3 week tour of Spain in Vejer and could not have been more happy to finish it in Gail's place. The place is well located (5mn walk to where the action starts) and quiet at night (zero noise). The authentic vintage furniture was a nice break from all the typical Ikea-furnished Abnbs. The beaches are at 10/15mn drive, but Vejer is perhaps one of the nicest place where we stayed in Spain, so well worth it. We will definitely come again!

A very quiet place. The beds in the house are very comfortable and everything is clean. Antonio and Fátima are very nice people and have been on the lookout. For putting a little stick, I think some kitchenware is missing (wooden spoons for cooking and some large saw knife) and we couldn't get the hot tub to work. Usually, everything is pretty good. If we return to the area, we will have Antonio and Fátima's house to stay.

Our stay at this wonderful place was simply spectacular. The location, in the middle of the nature reserve, allowed us to completely disconnect and enjoy the serenity and beauty of nature. Also, the cleaning staff did an impeccable job, keeping everything in perfect condition during our stay. We definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and well-kept retreat. We hope to be back soon!

We stayed at Marisa‘s place and felt at home right away. You can feel the love that has been poured into the house! It looks exactly like it does on the pictures, the kitchen is super spacious, the bedrooms are quiet, dark and cosy and the view from the terrace is just amazing. Thank you so much for having us!

Almudena's house is a pricey, you can tell that he likes the decor. The beds are comfortable and we didn't lack anything. The arrival was flexible and the communication was very smooth, very kind. There is a castle with beautiful gardens next door and walking you can get to the reservoir where you can follow a pretty nice path. Now, it is true that the house is inside the village on a street where the cars pass, there was some noise at night but because it was holy week with processions. The only downside is that it is not the ideal house with a small 20 month old that touches everything and there are many things a little fragile. There is also a beautiful terrace with hammock but no guardrail facing the patio. In short, nothing that can't be fixed but traveling with baby is okay to take it into account. The house was lovely : well located , super comfortable with everything you needed even a Smeg fridge in the kitchen !! A 2 minute walk to the local supermarket and just 15 mins into town made it a great place to stay. We had our dog with us so the beach just 5 mins into town the car away was fantastic every morning and evening - dogs allowed on the beach in winter time ! We also warm sunny weather even though it was February. A great stay - highly recommend

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The reception and farewell were very welcoming and always ready to help or make the stay pleasant. Quiet area, somewhat far from the center, but convenient for parking and as a base. The facilities and equipment are very good, with everything you need

The accommodation is fantastic to rest and disconnect from the routine ,highly recommended for walks to the beach . we have been in the family very comfortable!!!

Blanca's place was exactly what we hoped for: quiet, comfortable, well located and well appointed in the old part of Sanlucar. Lots to see within walking distance. The apartment is charming and has a lot of character. We especially enjoyed the views across the town down to the sea and the patio. It is close to the wonderful market, a very nice Michelin bib restaurant and a few sherry bodegas. The kitchen has everything you need for making simple meals and a very comfortable couch for relaxing on after a day of walking about. Veronica was very helpful. She met us and helped us get parked and into the apartment smoothly. We had a problem with the kettle blowing a fuse, but Veronica dealt with it right away. We would love to come back to this apartment; it is one of our all time favourite Airbnbs. We highly recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, charming place to relax in Sanlucar who doesn't mind a few stairs.

A very nice well-kept accommodation with great outdoor area, large terrace and pool. Very quiet and relaxing. The accommodation is nicely furnished and has everything you need. Very friendly and helpful hostess. We would mist definitely visit again.

We had a lovely stay in Vejer. The location of the apartment is amazing. Parking can be tricky at busy times but that is the nature of an Andalusian hill town so you can’t complain. Juan Carlos gave us very helpful information and advice for parking.

We had a wonderful stay during Easter. The city is easy to navigate and has lots to offer. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The 2nd bedroom is very small. The apartment would be extremely comfortable for a young couple. The stairs are challenging long, steep and dark with no handrail. There is a lovely terrace on the top but you have to go through a bedroom.

We loved it, the apartment is beautiful and very careful! The attention and treatment are excellent. The location is very good. The apartment was very clean and tidy.

Great place with a huge pool. There is a lot of space in the house and on the terrace. We had received good tips for eating out in the village. A nice place to relax.

I booked this villa as a get way. All I have to say is 5 stars out of 5. Great host made sure we was all ok and clear instructions for everything. The villa is lovely pool & bbq. Inside so clean and has everything you need like your at home just need to go food shopping 🙏 thank you

Eduardo is a nice and uncomplicated host who was always easily accessible and also very accommodating at the late check-in! In the immediate vicinity there are good restaurants and the beach is within walking distance and very nice! The house is equipped with everything you need and we felt very comfortable with our family

Amazing little paradise on earth. The kitchen was not that well equipped, but everything else was above expectations. The privacy, the pool, the surroundings was all amazing!

Practically perfect in every way. This was genuinely one of the best equipped and most welcoming places we have stayed in. The villa was a brilliant base for the five of us and Monique was a friendly and super-responsive host who was always willing to help with queries ranging from lighting the fire (unseasonably cold weather) to the hot water (teenagers and showers!). The indoor space is cosy but with plenty of room for five of us to spread out, and there are a series of great sun traps outside. There’s a hammock and a fab gas bbq - what more could you want on holiday. The location is quiet and tucked away, but within an easy stroll of places to eat, a great beach down the cliff steps and a well stocked supermarket. Other bars and restaurants are a pleasant walk away and Lidl etc. can be found in Barbate about a 20 minute drive away if you need to stock up. We’ve been lucky enough to stay in some amazing places but this was one of the very best. We will return!
